  Focus ST3 + proper Mini


can some one please tell me Ren uks address.

Ive spent the last hour cobling together a complaint about my local renault dealers mailto:cr@p">cr@p after sales.

my cars 4 weeks old and so far:-

alarm kept going off - rectified by adjusting sensitivity

oil change at 1k miles - done (because I paid for it)

petrol cap broken - wont replace!! reckon they fixed it :mad:

washer bottle cracked?? - non in stock didnt even do temp repair

scratch on front wing - supposed to be done today. but guess wot,they didnt



..And no courtesy car!!



Complained to after sales manager. he didnt like it when I said I was going further!!

I had to wait weeks for a washer bottle, mine was also cracked. So the out of stock thing is correct. Finnaly had mine replaced yesterday under warranty,but they wont sort the dam exhaust out under warranty :confused: the mind boggles...
 


Just posting this, not to piss anyone off but because we only ever hear the negative side of customer/dealer relations. Im having warranty work carried out on my car next week to the tune of over £450, without any quibble from the dealer and theyre supplying a courtesy car too!

So theyre not all crap!
 


Thats good news steve, my dealers are nice people, but they just keep on ordering the wrong parts and making me wait weeks for small problems...Ive spent so much time in there that they even ask how my family are!!!

Up to now, Ive had three things sorted under warranty, pluss a washerjet ball replaced and a 12k service, to get these five things sorted I must have been back and forth 20+ times :confused:

But in their favour, they never keep me waiting long, always give me a cup of tea and let me watch them fix my car....just wish it wasnt SO often!!

VivJ, Im reasonably pleased. I have had probs with them in the past (not with this car) but never over an issue such as getting things changed under warranty. Its always been as you say, backwards and forwards to the dealer so many times for just the one repair. But eventually they always get it sorted, and thats the main thing!

My main grip is that I took a day holiday to get a scratch sorted ( done before I picked the car up). Car had been booked in for over a week. told it will be done. Then when i get back to the garage after having to waste a day waiting around town. It hasnt been done and they had no intention of doing the bloody thing. They basicly only done the oil change cos i was paying for that!!



First time Ive used this garage as Im in the middle of 2 - both 20 miles away. Prob last time I use them too.
 


Sorry to hear your probs., norfolkminis, I hope you get it all sorted out at the other dealer.

I was just trying to say that amongst all the crap dealers (and i know there is alot of them) there are some decent ones, that when given the time, will sort your problems out.

I know wot you mean steve. the sales side were 100% just the after sales is losey.

As I said before never used them before, and being a big dealer thought the service maybe better. how wrong I was.

never mind.
 


Better luck at the other dealer.

Ive got a dealer near me, 4 miles away, that I use for parts only.

The dealer I use for service, new car sales, warranty work etc.. is 18 miles from where I live but I get reasonably good service so I continue to use them! (better the devil you know).
 


Good luck with reno uk mate i must of rung them about 50 times with complaints with my car had to take it back to the dealers 5 times with the same problem(revs going irratic then stalling)kept getting fobed off all the time!!!!!!!! till i asked to speak to a customer services manager.he said he would sort me some good will out lol anyhow they got back to me and gave £200 reno vouchers better than a poke in the eye;) anyhow the new clio arrives in 4 weeks just hope to god theres no trouble with this one Ste.
