Well Ive been out looking for a replacement car, after crashing my Mk1 172. My local Ren dealer has offered me a Mk2 172 out of the showroom. The car is unregistered and up for £14600. He reckons he can do me a good deal on that price. ( I should hope so)

I had a pretty eventful day this morning with my Mk1 172. I lost the back end on a wet country road doing approx 55-60.
I tried to correct it, but to no joy. next thing I know I had bounced off several trees with the boot then spun back round, then into the trees head on. Cars looking pretty...

Anyone know how much Im looking at for a replacement??
Ive just noticed a patch of oil on my drive directly under the rear passenger side wheel.
Had a quick look under the car and there seems to be oil over the bottom mount of the rear shock. Is this normal or should I be worried???

Ive had my Mk1 172 a few weeks and now the problems start!!
The passenger front seat dosent seem to slide forward when the lever is pulled for getting in the back. It was working when I looked at the car. But as its normally just me in the car, Ive just noticed it.
Is this a common problem...

Watch the alloy though!! Failing that I had to get my local trye fitter to chop the last one off, and re valve it. Cost about £5 per wheel by the time he...
