Yep had a topaz VTS for a couple of years. Best car I've owned so far, in terms of driveability, fun, performance for such little money. Had my 182 for 6 months, let's see how the next 18 months go - but so far......it's equal with the Saxo. VTS is a great car for the money, much like my 182.

If it's a left hooker, then it's not really much of a bargain. As you'll pay twice as much to insure it and it will be a b**ch to sell.

The gearbox on the Megane 225 is pretty massive too.

I think it would be a better idea to sell the 1.2. With the money from that and the extra £2500 you've saved from not having a conversion and go buy a 172. It would be a nightmare to insure anyway.
