I have an ITG panel filter fitted in my 182 Cup - can't say I've noticed any difference. Used Jetex panel filters in my 3 previous cars, worked very well in the VTS. Not sure if Jetex make one for the 182 though
So two dealerships gone from the south coast...... Liningtons and now Olympian. Although Liningtons didn't go bust (or so they say) just didn't want to invest.
I'd buy it at it's starting price then spend a grand making it back into a 1.2 Clio and then sell it for a cheap 3.5k. I can't believe people actually can be made to believe that a car like this is okay to own, drive.... Shocking
I wouldn't touch it. Only original alpines are worth looking at this had got some crap flared arch body kit on it. Look on here and you'll find some much better cars for sale and loads of tips etc... http://www.renaultalpineownersclub.com/ and go for a turbo too.
Don't do it mate. In say 3 years time will you still want to be paying, I dunno, say 200quid a month for, by then an eight or nine year old car?? Keep your 1.4 until you've paid it off, what's that? Another two years?? Or at least until you are a grand past the negative equity on your present...
Wasn't LKU on here a couple of weeks back? Someone asked whether it was worth buying (he'd seen the car at a local independent dealer). Then someone else found lots of photos from autocar or auto express of the car being thrashed and posted them on here. I think the fella who asked the...
I think Ollie(original poster) doesn't have a Renaultsport Clio - Every 18k miles if you're a driving a 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 petrol Clio. 36k miles equals a major service. So £240 isn't too bad a price to pay from a Renault dealership, my best mate who has a 1.4 paid £290 for his 36k service 2 weeks...
I like my 182, I think the ST ain't too bad either. A lot of reviews in the motoring press actually rate the cheaper Zetec-S over the ST for ride and handling and how the 1.6 Duratech is much sweeter compared to the 2.0 Duratec engine.
Does your car have a renault cd player?? This was a 200quid option at the time when the car was new and came with rear speakers - if you've a renault tape player - no rear speakers.
No that's another ST. As for build quality....... In the past I've owned 2 Fords from new and two Renaults from new (one of which is my current car) My old Fiesta Zetec S (owned for 6months back in 2000) was in the workshop for repairs almost every other week. Not had one problem with both of...
Those seats are in the 182Cup too. Seems to me that the car is the Spanish version of the 182 Cup, but with sill plates and a couple of decals and obvioulsy more paint options.
What if whoever bought the car for her, didn't buy it from a garage? Also there'll be always the "it was fine when I sold you the car. You must of done it."
Back in 1999 I wanted one of these new, back then they were known as the 16v as all clio2's at the time came only with 8valve engines. I waited and waited for it to be released, but needed a car, so I bought the 1.6Si, wheezy 8valve engine. Guess what 3 weeks after i bought the Si they...
Go to Halfords and buy one of those tasty stick on tailpipe extensions. Then spot weld the fake sport extension to a small bar and spot that to the exhaust pipe. Heh ! heh I am joking
