I had this issue with mine, I think they may have been using worn drill bits as its fractions out. I redrilled mine to the correct size (10mm I think?) and it fitted perfectly
ended up going to a local garage and then helped me out with a socket and stick. Had a bit of the problem with the immobiliser haha but all sweet now haha.
Hi guys,
I need to fit a new battery as mine is dead however I don't have the spanner to do so and gsf didn't sell one when i went to collect the battery. I am in central Reading and was wondering if anyone is close by?
Cheers
Yeah that would be it. Not a performance garage to my knowledge but have been recommended and he is very good value. Ive not seen the Astra. Ahh great choice hah, think they need coilovers though as mine still sits a bit high.
just to let you know Frenco Motor factors in kidderminster delivered...
Fixed. Took the washer bottle out completely. The screen pump is the inaccessible pump on the nearside of the car. This had an ingress of water, which I would guess was causing the fuse to blow. Swapped the pumps over and the screen is now washing. Just need a new pump for the lights.
Having done a search to no avail would someone be able to help me.
I am having a problem with my washer pump. The washer packed up for the screen and then eventually the lights. It appears there are two pumps in the washer bottle, but one is inaccessible. I have replaced the accessible pump...
Small updates, haven't done much with the car, but got these off ebay. Not sure if I like them yet, but going to spray some anthracite ones to match the door handles and see which I prefer... The pictures make them look a lot lighter than monaco blue though :/
Yeah I agree with the tuck, how big did you go with spacers, im thinking of making 20mm rear and 25mm front? these wheels are et43 i think so needs to be quite alot...
Plans are:
Interior trim parts painted anthracite
Clio 197/200 steering wheel
New Rs mats
Change gear knob to an alloy...
why not get it up higher in that space above the clock which I never seem to use?? you can then use it as a sat nav aswell. I had thought about this, making a male piece that fits into the female form and has a stand attached. Aux and power would have to be thought about though...
