Desktop has changed on my computer.... look s**t!
Thanks for the delivery of my new wallpaper Gabi, the colours are so sterile and depressing.
When do we get our work ties?
I don't tell you what to wear so why do you feel you need to change my wallpaper without my...
What are your thoughts on them?
Never bothered where we are, but some people started to have slightly dodgy backgrounds, I was rather flexible (within reason).
Due to that we have now changed them to the company logo. Plain, but works.
The abuse I am getting is rather funny.
Hi,
Just got my bumper through today.
I cannot charge the iphone with the standard iphone charger, doesn't quite reach in.
Need to take it out the case, to charge it.
Anyone else finding this?
G.
(apologies if mentioned somewhere else, however, there are so many posts on the iphone :S)
Found the solution yesterday.
I tried a numerous amounts of ways and finally got it working.
Basically, don't use BT's 2 wire router, it's shite and you cannot turn off NAT properly, I also tried a Netgear DM111P - this is just a modem, this doesn't work either as you cannot turn off DHCP if...
dk,
Thanks buddy. I'll speak to Lorna and see what she says, cisco's are nice, sadly we don't get the discounted prices such as you guys do :p
They certainly do have their pro's and cons, how can you didn't go the avaya route|?
Thanks,
G.
PDF would be great. I believe the tool is officeserv manager, do you reckon you could get it for me? Happy to pay for it if it works with our system.
Thanks Longy, owe you big time!
Our Samsung office serv 500 & 100 has to be the most annoying thing I have used. Nothing can be programmed properly via a gui, all has to be done by the handset unfortunately.
I did contact Samsung to train me up, so I could have the "reseller" status and then I could download all their...
Sure is,
Citrix looks good, as it's not based per processor.
All these solutions are quite expensive specially for the SME environment as most businesses have no budget at all.
Currently have a maintenance agreement with one company who look after 3 of our sites, they were our preferred supplier, not too bothered now.
Cisco - normally very expensive, don't have huge amounts of money to implement it or to pay for software upgrades.
You a supplier?
Whilst being at the genius bar in regent street, twice of my many occasions, they turned away someones iPhone that was purchased in America and an iPad too. I don't know why the reasons where, but both in warranty.
I personally have been to the new york store and changed my charger, no issues...
Ah I see.
We do have UPS's.
Are your phones powered through PoE switches or have direct AC adaptors?
What is the issue with the receptionist if you don't mind me asking (pics) ;)
Thanks very much for all the info,
Gabi
Currently have a shitty samsung office serv 500 & 100, it's very annoying and difficult to configure. Currently having some issues with it and or BT for our ISDN 30's in one office.
Looking to probably change to an Avaya IP Office 500, starting off with standard then moving up to preferred...
I bet he going to be using it for documents & emails :)
Someone at work just bout a similar spec imac and all he uses is google and citrix, would not listen to me.
:)
Longy,
Well, s**t router to be honest but hey.
They turned off telnet I believe in a previous firmware version. What a pain.
Do you have any experience in setting up the cisco 1840?
Thank you all for your time,
Thanks,
Gabi.
Hi,
Thanks for you time to write back, hope you had a nice lunch :) would not think you are ignorant, don't be silly ...... people have things to do, so no biggy.
Anyhow, not sure how this would work, are these settings applicable for the T2700HGV?
For the public IP all I get as options are...
DMS Hi :)
By disabling routing it automatically puts it into bridge mode which disables the NAT and DHCP Server.
Settings when I tried it in bridge mode where;
public IP Address: 217.40.130.254 (default gateway) 255.255.255.248 (subnet)
VPI : 0
VCI: 38
ATM Encapsulation: bridge...
Hi,
Have a small office, new router put in supplied by BT BT2700hgv.
Current configuration;

I don't quite understand the bumpers, in regards to how they improve signal.
The press release by apple simply stated that the problem occurred on how they calculated the signal strength and that it was going to be rectified in a software release. This apparently also happens to 3G's, never...
Not all SME's have the budget for audits, we have compliance pro's, who are outsourced.
It is a lot of info to be dumped on me, there is no one else who can do it and we all have to learn at some point, just as you did ;)
Do you have procedures/ISO27001 that I could have a look at?
I will...
