Indeed , if I was going to bodge it with a cheap job I could do most of it myself
In my head both arches were going to be 6 or 700 quid

Need the rust cut out and a decent repair done on our cup ,
looked at a few and for some reason the cup shells i have seen seem to suffer from this as i spent a month looking at several cups and they all had varying signs of it , where regular mk2's don't
also got patches of lacquer pealing...
such sad news :-( Had the pleasure of Barry in the passenger seat coaching me on many occasions in my early days on track in a 911 with RMA
I also remember jumping in with Barry in E911 MAD a legendary Ruff 993 turbo at Silverstone on the GP circuit
not often I can't speak ...... but As...

looks lovely but expect an instant tug for the black and silver plates
they get really shitty about them .... I binned mine after 3 stops in a week and then a letter telling me next time DVLA will revoke my private reg

gym tonight .... always plenty of modern exotica about but tonight I spotted this lovely Ferrari was in a rush as bike training tonight but think it's a 250 GTE

stock duratec about 180bhp
a great all rounder , less hardcore chassis so a bit softer than the track orientated stuff

owner experience is fab , people always chat and wave .
Agree on long journeys having driven across Europe.
the rain is worse than heat

In seeing ever rarer cars i was following this round Hyde park corner last night , just shy of 800bhp Brabus ev12 , was on weird plates with just a white background and 6 or 8 numbers
and look at the spa water/oil temp gauge ,
one that takes a direct feed not one that works off sensors if your tracking alot

arse , never seen a big power duratec go pop .
@James 12 laps after a 5k rebuild ..... totalled the bottom end as it seized but fortunately didn't totally trash the top end.
.... you just have to take a deep breath and start again.
thats the trouble , when you start running big power on track...
i feel your pain though
i did a fresh zetec in a dozen laps at cadwell after the oil filter undid itself and dumped all the oil on full throttle
after that i always lockwired the filter so it could not happen

its what i had fine on road but track work is a different league of load.
minute i hit track temps rocketed
its a flawed design the raceline rail

in contrast and there has been the usual spotting of Italian exotica on my way back home including passing the chap who almost uses his Dino as a daily in the summer .
I spotted one of these and its gorgeous
Bentley S1 fastback
never seen one before

not sure as there are a few of those near me , and today being warm and a sunday will bring out the exotica
however sitting in the sun eating breakfast i may have out done you for rarity

right had some more water temp thoughts as i bullet proofed mine .
1 bin raceline rail , you will find loads of overheat stories online and drilling the stat is a bodge (its to do with the rail having no bypass circuit)
2 know your oil temps , hot oil especially on track drags up water temps ...
i will be honest it was the raceline rail that gave me exactly the problems you have.
i ditched it for the dunnel option.
yes they run hot but

looks really nice
let me know what the geo readings are and we can look at what may suit how you drive.
The temp thing is a concern as seen this happen alot with poor cooling setups on zetecs
i suffered similar for a while and i am going to say it sounds from the header tank pissing water it...
