Recently I've replaced the clock twice as one died completely then the next one the temperature display was goosed and the clock itself just kept advancing a minute every second or so, all sorted now though.
Passed MOT on valentine's day although the hazards worked once then died, so new switch...
20 plus your old Renault, highly unlikely Renault UK or anywhere else give a f**k tbh, hence the blank reaction.
Mines a end of march 2001 Y plate and complaint for all ULEZ and LEZ country wide currently, win
I could be tempted to mosey down although I'm not completely stock, so depends how fussy @JPBicester is wanting to be? Plus cannot guarantee the car won't be ditched, it is winter afterall, lol
Guys got a Fezza and a Macca, don't think he needs the cash.
Pretty sure recognise the garage too, think he had the 120k miles Giulia Quadrifoglio too not long back and was experimenting with self servicing it at home etc
should be able to get it repaired.
i will have a full set up soon, but there is a first refusal on them so wont be listed until i know if the chap who wants them is definitely going for it. will know in next week or so
Glad you stuck it out chap, and feel the love and throw some at yours. Such a great car, been using mine daily again and recently just looked all bleary eyed at my stereo because retro cool on today's commute.
Next niggle, boot has always let in a little water, but it's reached new extremes recently, about 1.5" in there today so decided enough was enough and got the bungs out which were slack as piss so most likely the issue.
Cleaned up and good old tiger seal applied then refitted, hopefully that'll...
First niggle, passenger heater mirror not working, I replaced the driver's not long back and bought both sides from rpd when they were on offer for like 8 quid a piece.
Wiring looked in tact on old glass when I prised it out, so quick check with multimeter make sure was defo glass and not...
Just been cranking the miles recently, cars a dream, few niggles to sort like dash centre display light intermittently going out despite new bulbs and just simple crap like that which is par for the course keeping a 20 plus year old car going.
She does look good
What a view...

So despite moth balling the car this year after the incident, I spent some time fixing the rest of the front end fully before putting her to bed for the winter.
There was some more bent metal on the leading edge of the front arch and more towards the rear too, yehaww straightened out what I...
Dailied mine for 160k and ten years before a Crashqai jumped a red light and killed it. Was on 263k and aside from general servicing was very reliable over the entire time I used it.
182 mine so had the climate and cruise etc which was perfect for a daily car
Bit of dampness in the boot, suspect grommets so I'll seal those up, used the blazing sunshine today in the works car park to empty and dry the boot out
Technically the later revision are 'better' as they increase caster for better handling etc and a lot of owners retro fit as a result. Renault themselves also updated them so the part number for a phase 1 wishbone is technically now the new caster increased ones.
however i wanted to keep the...
back from @MicKPM with Renfort plated diff, rebuilt gearbox, new lower arms (correct early spec genuine Renault phase 1 ones), new aux belt kit, new ARB bushes and clamps for inner and outer and camber bolts. Dialled in 1.5 degree neg up front and tracked it.
drives lovely now and looking...
She's back, driving perfect and on daily duties for a while now, feels so good to be back in a small French hatch with a gear lever after the Alfa daily for last few months
I made 212bhp with 197 injectors on a return fuel system setup and I think walbro pump it is, but didn't fit that pump specifically, was just in the car at the time.
That's stock engine, RS2 inlet and the 197 cams with 7 degree inlet advance, oh and 182 exhaust manifold
