Maybe sync going, it doesnt "keep up" with your quick shifting. Mine did the same year ago, but went away when oil was changed and didnt trash it for a while. Hows your gearbox oil?
Mine surely are slanted on the strut tower, and wont twist when turning wheel, do u hear squeeks or something when turning? I think that top mounts shouldnt be like that... Only spring/shock package should be turning, top mount not, so ive learned. But dont worry, those top mounts are not...
I wouldnt bet on cable, but if u hear the sound while engine off , it can be... possible clutch plate, or problem with clutch mechanism... standard one comes with all the necessary bits and is good enough... done 30k with 186hp/220 Nm without problems on standard plate...
Yea, same as above + no more CLONKS due to crappy bushes... many F7 series engines have problem with oil leaking from cambelt cover (cam seals go for some reason?), and in willy case, dripping oil falls JUST to lower wishbone and oil wears bushes in no time... polys will resist that oil damage...
If theres only inner (near the gearbox) gaitor, then its the same as Clio 16v, so the rubber itself wont cost much (5£?) ... ive been told that it isnt so hard to do, less than hour, so labour costs aint much...if you want for reason or another change the whole driveshaft, i saw eurocarparts...
Yep, the gaitor leaks are common, the whole gaitor was shattered on mine and fortunately the whole shaft came out in ....errrm certain situation... and needles were all over the road (with the oil)
Sorry to be stupid, but if near side means passenger side, u better sort the leak asap, cos when the inner joint blews then there is tens of those little needlebearings in your gearbox which can kill your differential right away... and whole gearbox later... better safe than sorry as always... ;)
