@thatbluecampus I would have thought this would be possible and likely a case of just plugging in the clocks you want. Its definitely worth a go. You would have to google or search ebay for both your current clocks and the ones you want for a picture of the back which shows the connectors...
Just open up notepad or word and put something heavy on the spacebar. Works a treat and best option.
or open powerpoint and press the presentation button in the bottom right corner. You can then alt tab to teams.
Pretty sure the clip is plastiwelded to the tank, either that or glued. Id be interested in this too as mine is the same. Ive used a zip tie but would prefer to replace the clip with something.

Does the original cap screw on ok with the after market bottles? I bought an aftermarket one a few years ago and the thread isn't the same as the original bottle, you can screw the cap on but it's hard to get it on without cross threading.
I've just ordered an OEM bottle from k Tek so will see...
Have you got something heavy on the passenger seat? The seats have a sensor that knows if someone is sat in the seat.
If I drive home with a bag of shopping in the passenger seat the beeps will start.

@MarcB gave me a good tip when I did mine - before you start, put masking tape along the windscreen where the wiper blades are and draw a line along the blade on to the masking tape so you know the natural position of the wipers. Makes it a hundred times easier when refitting them.
No experience myself but there is a product called CeriGlass by Carpro and you can also get special glass pads for a polisher. It would probably take an eternity to get the scratches out though, if they even come out.
£40 for the product and pads + 3 hours work
Or just pay your windscreen...
I have this in my MK4 Clio. It does exactly what you say. If it helps don't be too worried about the range, I tested mine by driving around with a jerry can of fuel to see what the actual range is once the light comes on and I got about 80 miles, even though it said ---- left
