ahh didn't know that tbh but got these for a decent price anyway! just got to take them somewhere to be done.. TDF quoted me £630 for mapping, fitting, new belts, cam seals and dephaser which isn't bad! obviously i'll ask fred what he can do too as his reputation is top notch too only...

Oh also just bought some 438 catcams .. :p

Fitted new exhaust mount and waxoyl'd the underside of the car.. Looks nice and black now and keep everything like new :D Also gave the arb a lick of paint and put some more satin black on the front grills

What prices between the lot? preferably more local to west Mids too! All of those are big trusted names here which is what I'm after :)

Will probably get Fred @ BTM to fit these as I've heard very good things and he's local to me! I believe they can be ran on a standard map to start with? Where is the best place for mapping.. and how much? I have an RS Tuner + map at the moment but I dont know if there is a map file available...

just make sure you get it on video with a ''watch this!'' at the start... thats got all the makings of a million plus views youtube hero!

the 1.0 corsa comment can be done tbf..my mate did something similar long run.. slight downhill..thing sounded like it was going to blow up mind and manifold blew the lambda probe out i do have pictures somewhere.. it died a horrible death not that many weeks after haha i'm waiting for the...

after a fair bit of research into various cams think im going to go with 438's so its either a trip to KTec or Danny for fitting and mapping :)

Without dephaser.. Ktec 1199 mapped and Danny 1329 mapped by the looks!

decided then! I need my dephaser doing so it needs to be done.. but i suppose its whoever's cheaper :P! the both have good reputation!

think 438 seems like a winner but.. Catcam 438s or ktec 438s.. hmmm whats the difference?

So ktec are 438s.. This is proper confusing lol Would I be correct in saying 438s are best for power? Not fussy about lumpy idle or anything gotta love n/a cammed note! :D
