The new Extreme VR2's are worth a look I've fitted them to my Hillclimb Clio in R5 soft compound and they are brilliant.
R5 would be too soft to do track days on but they do a medium R7 and hard R9 compound too.
Plus they only cost £352 delivered for 4

I did this with my Sierra Cosworth (twin master cylinders) but it was a lot more work than anticipated.
Also one of the main reasons for not having an adjustable bias valve is you aren't allowed to have them within reach of adjustment while driving as part of my regs.
This is much more of a just...
I know this subject has been covered numinous times on the forum but despite 2 hours of using the search function I haven't been able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction.
I want to totally remove the ABS from my Ph1 so firstly;
1. Choice of master cylinder, is it best to go for Cup...
Interesting about the crank weights I take it we are talking a couple of grams thou?
My current engine is Ph1 so I could weigh them both although I don't think I have anything accurate enough.

I'm guessing it something like M10 x 1.0 but could do with being sure before ordering.
Cheers Rich
I just happened to have 4 x OZ F1's stripped ready for powder coating so weighed one as I thought 9kg sounded a bit heavy.
I got them at 7.5kg and that's on a nice set of Slater Scales which I know to be very accurate.

I messaged Extreme yesterday but unfortunately they wont be making the VR2 in Supersoft, I struggled to get my point across about in Hillclimbing needing the softest compound you could get.
They said their Soft compound would be good enough and the Supersoft is only for wet use (although they...
Unfortunately you'll never get the answer you require as everyone has a different opinion on what makes a car handle.
Me personally I go for the big poundage springs at the rear and softer at the front (BC's standard kit is 4kg front and 8kg rear)
As with any FWD car you want to push all the...
I'm gutted I missed it, I was already to come even had the Clio washed yesterday then the Missis had other ideas apparently she brought up a clause in our relationship where I could do all the Race Meetings I wanted between March and October but she got first dibs on all other weekends out of...
