Been pretty slack with my write-up's recently so thought I had best post this beauty up!
I had a cancellation today so managed to squeeze in a local chaps Megane 250 engine'd Clio 200 in Alien Green.
Apologies in advance for the lack of progress shots, the weather wasn't ideal today so I was...
Avalanche is definitely not the thickest SF on the market, however that's no bad thing.. It's extremely fast working due to being citrus infused and clings for long enough to remove the majority of road grime which is really exactly what you need.
Valet-Pro PH Neutral, AF Avalanche and Chemical...
It's unbelievable! If it was anyone else I would have called him a liar but the owner is as lazy as they come so there is no way he would have topped it up! It's got to be one of the best, if not the best sealant on the market.
I went to price up a winter protection on a Audi A3 I detailed back in May this evening.. This is G-Techniq C2V3 after 6 months and more than 8,000 miles! No top-up at all, last wash was 4 weeks ago.

Sealants generally give a lovely sleek looking finish, especially on lighter colour paints. During winter however, I would be more concerned about protection and durability which is where sealants will excel.
A good combo is something like CarPro Reflect, topped with a couple of coats of...
It's really down to personal preference but I'm sure Kyle will be with me in thinking that sealants are the way forward during the winter months.
My money would be going on something like CarPro Reload. Using sealants is extremely easy, it's far quicker than waxing and generally gives a more...
For spray-on protection from a wet car my choice would be either Carpro Hydr02 or Gyeon Wetcoat.
For a QD with protection, Sonax BSD or Britemax Spray and Shine.
It really depends what you are after.
Firstly, thanks again @autofinesse for this months sample of Avalanche.
I had a few hours spare this afternoon so gave the TT a quick once over.
Unfortunately, It wasn't hugely dirty following it's winter protection detail last weekend but anyhow..

AF Avalanche Review...
Looks nice mate, TC is one of my favourites.
For future reference, the Tripple and TC combo is awesome, especially on light coloured cars. TC doesn't function as a QD, well not like C2V3 for example which can be diluted with water.
Not sure what happened there but anyway..
In-fitting with the new DVLA legislation I thought I would base this months review on the removal of my tax disc.
For some reason, the previous owner decided to bond the tax disc holder to the dashboard using sticky Velcro pads. Knowing these would...
Cheers guys, I'm really pleased with it so far! Such a nice place to be and it's amazing how much car you get for your money. It will never be anywhere near as mint as the Clio but im happy with that because at least I can use and enjoy it. :)
Thanks chaps!
Haha! Thanks bro.
