From what I understand they hoped to do 3 releases a year of a limited number. (Approx 15) They are all individual designs and hand painted so I doubt they will be available 365 but I see what you're saying mate. It appears this release is just pinstriped. No where near as nice as the last...

I'd try it on some interior mats mate.. Just sprayed the protector onto the fabric surface as I would normally with i1. Normally with i1 you can see it spreading over the fibres but the AF Ragtop appeared very grabby and you could see it clinging to one section. Yeah 2-3 coats is best for...

True that! I start off thinking to myself, why on earth would somebody buy a black car.. At the end I always think, yes, this is why. Then it's covered in dust 15 minutes later and I return to my first thought lol! Well, the cleaner was excellent, foams up really well and offers plenty of...

Washing up liquid can be used to strip LSP technically. However, it doesn't sound like there is any real protection on the car anyway so it's a bit pointless. If it's just the cleaning ability you are after you just as well add some conventional car shampoo to the bottle instead. The cleaning...

I use a few, TARDIS, TAR-X or Gyeon TAR.. They are all similar, probably just go for TARDIS as the cheapest option.

Absolutely! If you are happy to keep the DAS6 for the odd bits in tight areas etc then the DAS21e would be ideal, but as a complete replacement you are far better off investing in a DAS6 Pro IMO!

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

To be honest, i'd normally use W6 as part of a full decontamination and would always rewash afterwards but that's after using tar remover etc too. It's not going to do any harm by rewashing but as long as you have rinsed thoroughly with a pressure washer it will be fine.

Don't get me wrong, I have used a fair few 21mm BigFoot's and they are excellent but as a hobbiest surely you would want a single machine that can do everything? That's why although I have no issues with the DAS21e, it won't replace the DAS6 range IMO. This is why I think the FLEX 3401 VRG is...

It's a bit of a grey area.. Most iron removers are advertised as 'Wax Safe' but truth be told, without getting technical they will effect the wax layer by around 50% so it's best to reapply LSP afterwards.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

The problem with the DAS21e is the fact that you can't really use it as a standalone machine. My reason for saying that is 21mm throw is too much to do an entire car unless you only have large panels and no tight areas. For that reason, you would need to keep your DAS6 too ideally. They are...

No need to dry fella. Just clean the wheels and wash the car as usual, spray on the W6, leave for a few minutes to do it's magic, agitate if required and then rinse well. Yes, really it's only required as part of your decontamination prior to protection. So once every 3-6 months dependant on...

Iron Remover ideally needs to be used on a clean car, definitely not as a pre wash. I would suggest washing the car as you would usually and then using W6. The idea of W6 is to desolve any iron/fallout that's sat on the paint so it works more effectively on a clean surface.
