Having had both on the car... my opinion is as follows:
To begin with the Apex were fantastic.... i had them on for a little over a year and the looks were fantastic!
However... it was a harsh bumpy ride, and a few months ago i took them off to find they had sagged.. so badly that the car...
My first 15 mins is country roads, winding through villages
Then i do around 40 mins on main roads... doing an even 50 (getting stuck in long queues of moving traffic) then through Banbury (so town driving) and the last 5 mins on a fast stretch of 60 road :D
When you can get 40mpg out of a 182 :approve:
We sold our little pug 306 at the weekend, and so this week ive been doing 80 miles a day (to and from work) in the liquid.. Had to make the petol last!! Will see if i can top it tomorrow
However.. a little diesel is on the way :D
They are lovely springs, and the ride height isnt too bad! not as great as the apex but the ride more than makes up for it
Test drive is very soon hehe (Gareth secretly wants a liquid meggy) ;)
My Renault Neighbour popped over to show me this tonight.... as if im not drooling enough already ;) they have 3 in at the moment.. 2 in liquid and im not sure what colour the 3rd was.... he has this for 400 miles and has to give it back tomorrow
I love it sooooo much :approve: :approve...
Babe.... we thought it best for you not to mention the accident.. wasnt our place
im just so so glad you guys are ok... only steve saw it in his rear mirror.. the rest of us just flew round the bend and didnt see anything... no dust, nothing!
Gareth said to me "god, did you see that car in...
