Thinking of changing the engine cover and i/k for something a little more colourful...what ya think?

Are the BMC i/k ment to be any good, it sounds quite meaty, but no where as dirty as the K&N i had in the 172. lol

id personally change the colour of the engine cover to a brighter and leave the i/k

  80MPG BEEZA
maybe do the top part and the oil opening part red so its red and black then change to a different filter maybe a red and carbon viper

  850 T5. mmmm Turbo!
im yet to see an IK like that look like its fits in a clio. its far too long for the engine bay.

seem people put some silly angels at the end to try and get a CAF in there.

maybe just clean up the metal work and itll look fine.

Yeah the i/k fits crap - its not even secured at the end!! And the CAF (OE) is miles away from it. Previous for that job i'm affraid...but i will sort it!

Nice :D

I was thinking something like that also mate - something fresh is what it needs :) The black is just too dull imo.

No trophys aren't ment to have engine covers - don't fancy polishing up all the inlet mani etc, i just can't be arsed. lol

Excuse the sh1t PS work lol

The bmc's are pretty good. Chop 10mm off the elbow, will fit closer to the throttle body, giving more room for a caf.

Engine cover needs a bit of tomato on it if you keep it.

same pic as my other thread but i think capsicum red would be the best option. if you are not polishing the inlet then i'd consider using high temp black paint and just polishing up the renault sport logo

Decided to pop down to halfrauds earlier and get some red paint - closest i could find to the trophy was ford radiant red...

Damn lacquer - does my head in - lucky this little balls up is in on the reverse of the cover, so you can't see it. I'll patch it up though when i get more paint. :)

A part from that i got a good finish.

i would want to fit a caf onto the end of that i/k if its possible. ?

other than that fella i would either remove the engine cover or perhaps get it done in antheracite to match the wheels.

Antheracites not a bad idea - maybe for RWS :)
