Assetto Corsa makes me chunder in short order. Doing flips and s**t in Flight Simulator? No problem. Getting solid 80fps in Assetto. FS I could be down to 30-40fps and still not be queasy, so I feel like it’s motion or something. Any tips?

Okay so flying in VR is bloody epic. I can literally stand next to a T45 Goshawk, step into the cockpit and sit in the pilot's seat (my sim rig), look around the cockpit firing everything up, then taxi to the runway and take off, and when you're flying a fighter jet where you can look right out...

Accidentally bought a Rift S today. Wish I'd done it sooner. Admittedly most of the stuff I play is sat down - Assetto and Flight Sim 2020 atm, but what an experience in both. Really cool. You forget that it's not just head tracking, but properly 3D too.

I’ve not used one personally but I do know those are a lot easier to use. I can’t believe I just paid £110 to buy Microsoft Flight Simulator so I could fly over my house to find that it’s apparently a factory. Ffs

Nope, it's literally just for the isofix, and whilst it does have two loops in the boot to allow you to strap stuff down, it doesn't have any other function.

Nope, afraid not. Arma 3, bit of GTA V, Beam.NG, Dirt Rally 1/2, then stuff like Ship Simulator, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, and WRC4 lol

Just done a test with my laptop, 3060 non Q, 1080p in a 2 car race at Cadwell with 4096 res reflections, all the fancy visual stuff such as raytracing and FSR on, 170fps.

Definitely IMO. You might have to turn off raytracing or turn reflection resolution down but you should still rip with a 3070.

I am a HEAVY Assetto enthusiast, lol. No problems on my 3060. The latest custom shaders patch incorporates FidelityFX Super Resolution which is enough to comfortably sit at 120-140fps at 1080p.
