I think you'll need to be a bit more specific. Extent of accident with some pics might help. No dash display would suggest you don't have any power whatsoever. Old battery maybe? Has it been stood for a while?
It was down to lack of lubrication. Sometimes the catch didn't hold the bonnet down properly and could potentially fly open.
I first got a recall letter in 2008 if I remember correctly, which I ignored. I couldn't be bothered going to some incompetent Renault dealership and sit there for hours...
I remember when I bought my first new 172. I was torn between Flame Red and Iceberg silver, leaning more towards red. My mate convinced me to buy silver.
As soon as I bought it I realised the world and his dog were all driving silver cars so it never stood out lol.
I still think Silver when...
Ahhh sorry. Didn't know you were taking the piss.
If he really thinks he'll get nigh on £13k he's dreaming.
There was a really low miler last year with only 13k miles on the clock, it looked and sounded mint. They had it advertised for £12995 originally but couldn't shift it so had to drop the...
He's asking £12995. That's strong money for a car that's obviously not a minter. Plus he's already added 5k miles so it's already going down in value lol :p
Personally I'd have taken the " over £10k offer". 😉
I agree. If you're asking top money the car should be complete and in as near mint condition as possible.
It's missing the engine hoist bracket as well.
If its not the dephaser it might be the water pump? When I had a full belt service at Diamond motors about 6 years ago my water pump was knackered and rattling its tits off. The cheeky f*****s at Renault who'd previously done the belts etc..... had used a none genuine pump. It had only done 28k...
Ive had 2 broken front springs on my 182 and never noticed. Both were just a couple of inches on the end.
Mick at Diamond motors spotted the first one when he was servicing it and second one a couple of years later was picked up when I took it for an MOT.
I really doubt anybody would feel the...
I was thinking thermostat. If it is the thermostat, will having the heater on or off will affect it? When my heater is off and idling it gets up to temp quicker and will stay there longer but still drops when i start to drive.
Mines been doing exactly this for a few months. I put it down to the outside temp being colder. If I turn the heater off and sit there with it idling it does reach halfway. As soon as I start driving with the heater on, even on low like 18 degrees it drops again 1 mark on the temp gauge.
I...
