I am aware of this, but the hawk ones were terrible, fine once warm mind.
I currently run DS3000 pads in with my 4 pots and they have good stopping power from cold.
A couple months yet then mate. :)

Safety Devices 6 point cage deposit now paid. So should finally have a roll cage fitted early Feb.
PMS stud kit will be ordered next, maybe the PMS exhaust system too.
Hopefully Cadwell, Brands Hatch, Donington and Castle Combe action days. I'll keep you posted Chris. Hopefully you'll be back in a French shed soon mate to join me out on track
I was looking for a old invoice, and thought I know.. I'll quicky add them all up. I don't have a spreadsheet azza, I am not that sensible lol.
Yes Dan, well over 20k mate as I paid £8,000 for the 172.
I will never add them up again, that's for sure :(
Just had a look through the Clio file, and added up my invoices over the past 8 years ( I've never been brave enough in the past :o)
The total came out at £13,007 :(:( This doesn't include the purchase price of the car, petrol, tax, tyres and insurance, or second hand parts like 2118s cup...
^^^ It cost me next to nothing to have it fitted along side the cold outside tap ( a good mate is a plumber) I will never live without one again mind. :approve:
Yes mate pretty much. I had always liked the 172 I just didn't realise they went that well. I bought one quite soon after.
What happen to the your black ph1 172?
Sounds like the heater resistor pack has broken. Mine did this in Nov, I just changed the resistor pack. It works fine again now.
