I think you will have some trouble because the majority of cages will follow the B-pillar and it looks like your seats are nearly at the back edge of it. You could possibly get away with it if you moved your seat forward an inch or two, although you'd be slightly less comfy, but really I don't...
I was on the lookout for one of these the other day. I'm still a bit of a photography noob so this may be a silly question, but could somebody explain how using a 35mm prime lens is different to turning an 18-55mm zoom lens to ~35mm and using that? Probably thinking of the numbers all wrong but...
Thats so tempting! Insurance is a killer for me at the moment though. 19 y/o with only 1 years ncb, was planning to wait until july when I hopefully have 2 years no claims, or until october when I'm 20 with 2 years no claims. I'm currently paying £1500/year on a 1.6 citroen c4 with a black box...
Cheers for the link:up: So basically I should get a HPT otherwise I'll be wasting money just to get the LPT up to the standard of the HPT. People also mentioned on that thread that the HPT has more oomph higher in the rev range whereas the LPT is quicker off the line.
I've been looking at 940's for a few weeks now and was put off a bit my insurance prices (I'm 19, with only 1 years no claims, looking at about £1500/year but hey ho), but just discovered this thread and I'm almost certain I want a barge now. Been scouring ebay and autotrader, anything specific...
Just realised that this wasn't an RS, just looked very similar to the plug on my 172, the sleeving on the wire looks the same too. Might just be a spare plug, don't know if your model has a carbon canister or not.
Looks mint. Does that mean another aerocatch for the centre of the bonnet? Or some of those elastic quick release things?
Whats the process for removing that big chunk of metal, and does it actually serve a purpose? I remember reading about it a while ago but never got around to it...
Noticed that I dont have a yaw sensor in my clio 172 (was stripped out prior to me buying it). Haven't driven the car properly yet, should I expect any issues from it being removed? No lights on the dash at all that indicate something is up.
Cheers
Been working on making a CAI for the passenger headlight over the last 6 months. Hasn't taken that long, just been working on it on and off with help from my mate. Its definitely over-the-top but it was a good little project and looks cooler than just a duct going through the headlight.
Started...
If PH1's work the same as PH2's, then when you turn the key to ignition, the red light on the dash should go out after a few seconds. If it doesn't then I believe its an immobiliser issue.
I only have the top dash and no it doesn't support itself. However all it took to hold it up was making a small bent piece of metal from the steering column support to the hole where your clocks would usually bolt through. Hopefully that made sense, lol.
Bought a PMS air con delete kit a few weeks ago and finally got around to fitting it. Saved a ton of weight and since I also had no heater in the car I saved a load of weight along removing all of the blower motor and such that is behind the bulkhead. Need to make some blanks to fit over the...
It was already removed when I bought the car. Traction control won't be used anyway but I haven't had any warning lights or anything on the dash. Honestly hadn't even thought about it up until you just mentioned it since it was never there. No issues so far though.
The drivers section of the wiper linkage is what the passenger wiper blade is connected to though I think, so it needs to stay. The yaw sensor is just taken out.
Nevermind, just had a look and it seems that the wiper goes through the passenger side pivot point to get to the middle wiper, so cant remove any of the wiper assembly unfortunately. Oh well!
Now that I think about it I don't actually know how the wiper system works, never even looked into it. Im guessing there is only one motor and some kind of linkage to the pivot point on the other wiper?
Thanks! Just 9mm thick plywood sealed with many layers of paint. Im going to remove the passenger mechanism but only once I'm happy with the single wiper. Although I may remove it when I do the aircon delete whilst all the scuttle and stuff is off.
