They look elegant and subtle... :)
Michael
Tryed the Mattig cup ones for my 16v... and they fit like !#?%!!!!!... :@ Simply not worth the money!

Michael
@ N.Hill
Do you run a special engine management system or just a uprated chip?
What is the cost of your conversion for the valver.... parts only... and shipping to Denmark?
Michael
Nope... Not really any progress yet... My head (thats the engine im talking about) is having a valve job done... The seating was not good enough!!
Having the piston pockets done as well.... Thx all for the info...
Im working on my inlet manifold... Doing the ports so they fit the head and...
@N.Hill
No need for a one off gasket..... They do exist!!!
Got a special headgasket from Mecaparts in france.... 85mm diameter, thicker and more durable rings around the bore....
Michael :)
Thx all.....
I get it now....
@Ben: Cant remember how thick it was.... I would say that 85mm is the near the limit. There is still enough room between the bores. 86mm is pushing it a bit too much....
Will post pics of the project as it evolves.....
Michael :)
They are Peugeot 206 GTI pistons 85mm... :o
And yes im a clown forgetting to notice the arrow on the crown!!!!
Cross pin hight of the pistons was to high, when connected to the Megane rods and crank.
@ BenR: Why is this. As i imagine the load on the engine/bore is on the inlet side as the...
Im the lucky owner of a set of modified pistons. With modified I mean, skimmed on top and new valve pockets being made.
In my eager to get them made I forgot to check which way round in the cylinder bore they are supposed to sit. :p (remember to read the arrow you clown!!)
Soooo......
-...
Do a search....
It has been covered not long ago...
Sensor is at the back of engine... Cam belt side..
Temp sensor and level sensor at the front....
Michael :)

Special head gaskets...
You can do it you self.... but it will take almost forever...
Sometimes you can get it done the same place as where they do the chrome stuff.... I did not do mine.... Price - no idea....
Do a google search in your area...
Michael :)
easy to remove...
but dont chrome it... get it polished instead... as the material (aluminum) expands in the heat, the chrome expands at a different rate... chrome parts from inside the cover can (will) come off....
Can post a pic later
Get it polished! :)
Michael
Very easy...
Loosen the plug in the bottom of the box, lossen filler plug too, as the oil will run more easy... even better if the oil is warm..
Put butt plug back in (ups.. sorry ) fill through filler hole using a flexible hose or similar.. fill untill it comes out the hole, approx...
@Jimbo
Thx... planning on wrapping my Renault Sport (Megane Cup) tubular manifold.. and a Supersprint or Devil tubular manifold on my daily driven car(cant decide)
Not used the cast iron manifold for years, all though they are a great OEM item, making good torque..... for a valver that...
Anyone got any experience with this...?
It would seem like there is only benefits using these materials, like reducing under bonnet temp, which in turn is good for induction the temp. Also sheilding electrical items and piping.
When wrapping the entire exhaust fra manifold to back box, heat...
