Can anyone with Sky Q Fibre please advise, is the connection to the router a phone line connection or Fibre/Coaxial? Looking online seems to suggest its just a regular phone line?
I got them down to £65 p/m on the above deal btw and a fair bit of discount off of setup and upfront fees.
I was hoping Sky Q would be fibre for all services like Virgin. I really don't want to have to put a dish on our new house. Is putting a dish in the loft space feasible?
Phoned them before and the best deal I have been offered is:
Boxsets Bundle £19
Q Multiscreen £12
2 Mini Boxes
Q 2TB Main...
Do the mini boxes require line of sight with the remote? 2 out of 3 of my TVs will be wall mounted and I'd like for the mini box to be out of sight mounted to the back of the TV, I've seen a pic online of someone having done that but would like confirmation.
We bought a 4K TV last weekend, the old one was 50" with probably a 2 inch bezel whereas the new one is 50" with virtually no bezel so effectively a 'smaller' TV. Perhaps should have gone for 55" but i didn't want to spend more due to the impending move and the amount of money i'll be spending...
I'm looking at getting Sky Q at the moment, not sure if I've read it wrong but it looks to me like you don't pay anymore per month for the main box + 2 mini boxes than you do for the main + 1 mini. I'm looking at Fibre Max, Main 2TB box, 2 mini boxes, variety pack which works out at the moment...
50% off just TV?
I've had a quick search and online suggests what i'd need is:
Variety TV £16p/m (50% off)
Q Multiscreen £12p/m (with 2 mini boxes as it seems its no dearer to have 1 or 2 p/m)
Sky Fibre Max £25p/m
Line Rental £17.40p/m
So £70.40p/m
Could this deal be bettered if ringing up?
Presumably thats 50% off for 12 months on a 12 month deal, i.e. you could end up never paying full price?
I'm going to be phoning up this week for Sky Q for 2 rooms, TV not inc Sports or Movies and the fastest broadband they offer.
Not sure if I would be classed as a new customer or not, as I've been with Sky before (about 4 years ago) and still have an 'account'. We are moving house and cannot move with Virgin, what would people's advice be to get the best deal? We would be looking at Sky Q for 2 rooms, the fastest...
Cheers Tim, the intercooler is off the E320 and is a proven way to eek out another 10bhp, I'm in talks with Celtic about the remap at the moment but I think its not going to turn into anything, it'll more than likely be going to MSL for their map and the 320 intercooler, should be up around 290bhp.
Cheers Tim, mine did ok but once the house move is done it'll be going to MSL for a larger intercooler and a new remap, i'm sure there is a lot more in it.
I love my Corsair 250D mini-ITX machine, even though my main rig (Corsair 900D) is in some ways more capable you can't help but love the simplicity of the smaller machine.
Loving it so far, takes some time to get used to it again and understand everything that's going on but once up to speed its pretty epic. I still can't help but laugh at some of the silly-ness in it though with moveable objects etc, took me forever to collect and arrange these bins to reach a...
Had a quick go but being 31c down here today its just too bloody hot in my room to play it, seems good and the graphics are better than the videos looked so I'm quite happy, started playing with keyboard and mouse but switched to Xbox controller as the control system was just overly complicated...
