I couldn't agree more to be honest, I take any pictures before release with a pinch of salt though. Next week I should be getting a Windows phone for work, it'll be interesting to see how it fairs as I'm thinking I'm more likely than ever to break my trend of iPhone.

8.1 boots faster for sure, but that's the only difference I've noticed. I wouldn't go back to 7 now, as far as I am concerned (except for if money comes into it) there is no reason to not use 8.1.

No, that's about the only thing you can't do still. But IMHO you don't need it, you can configure 8.1 to display Computer, Control Panel, File Explorer etc on the desktop, any programs you regularly use you can locate on the start screen or have an icon on the desktop (you can also right click...

IMHO there is no need to install classic shell with 8.1, it can be configured in such a way that you'll barely notice any difference between it and 7.

I use a 1TB SSD for VMs on my main home server, multiple VMs running off the same conventional disk just doesn't work.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 was surprisingly rather good, I wouldn't necessarily call it a 'quality' game, but it was worlds apart in comparison to the 1st which was utter garbage. I actually enjoyed the second one.

I agree tbh, I've got Forza and Titanfall. Forza I've played probably about a couple of days worth of play, Titanfall I installed and haven't even played.
