On that Vid the Clio seemed to take ages to get by, but then when it actually went for the pass it carried the same amount of speed much tighter though the bend - as if it was just waiting for a good place - but it had just been lunched on the straight as well so?
Take the Cup badge off! Cup on the 182 = Pov spec! Hehehe :) Looks really nice aside from that badge though!
That is a really lovely example of a GTi as well, I think the 306 GTi wheels really suit them, and I prefer a single round exit exhaust on them, but that twin is ok actually, not OTT...
Ah awesome, I prefer the supercharged ones too, and the Mk1 body looks loads better. I wouldn't go for a GP - I think they're too much money and apparently (I've never driven one though) the ride on the road is waaaaay too hard.

I hardly ever see ClioSports driving around, or Lupo GTis really. I do seem to keep see Corsa VXRs though? Of course this was all, when I could drive etc.

Just browsing Pistonheads and no where else, you have plenty of choice in Mini's and some of them are absolute beauts :)
Would that 06 one you mentioned be a 'Mk2' with a Turbo? I thought they came in at 56...? I'm probably wrong though hehe.
Dan
More than happy to be proved wrong :)
Re: the standard suspension and high stance, have you considered uprated suspension of some kind? I mean, I'm sure you have of course heh, but is it likely to be on the cards in the future, as surely there must be quite a lot of roll? How old are the...
I read in the other thread you're looking for a replacement MCS mate? Have you got the word from the insurance yet? Like you said elsewhere, deffo the supercharged one, not the newer turbo'd one, just on looks alone - although I hear the turbo motor is a really fantastic piece of kit, that...
I quite like 3 - but I'm struggling to picture them on a Clio cos they're kinda Jap. 4 and 5 (5 maybe better in white) are both ok, I wouldn't go bigger than 16" for sure, and I don't like the multi stud fitment holes on 4 - can you get them with just the right holes? No decals on any of them...
I think they look shocking mate sorry, and I'm really not a fan of combining blue and orange :( I don't really get why you're doing it? Isn't it more sleeper just standard?
The handling of the VX220 NA is utterley amazing - better than the Turbo version as it's lighter. On the track it's about the same straight line once you're moving as the Clio, but in the corners it could carry much more speed, assuming the driver was vaguely competent. They're very good for...
I have to admit, I was expecting something shocking but that's perfectly sensible :) It's really subtle and almost looks factory! Definate win, and different, never seen one of those.
I dunno why you apologised for the skills - those pics are up there with some of the best on here IMO :)
And the Golf does indeed make the TVR look teeny! Is his modded then? Miltek as you mention the awesome sound?

Performance would be very similar - I'd imagine the VTR would have the edge. Clio a lot nicer inside, and a lot safer, with a bit more room for mates. But if it's only performance that matters the VTR, especially if a 100bhp later one, would probably be a bit quicker and is certainly a better...
That's really impressive work mate, well done :) Imagine embarassing some of them off the lights hehe! I know over 60 the huge power of say, the Maserati might start to give it a nice edge but heh, he spent £80k or something for that haha :D
But as mentioned, they both walked away without so much as a twinge, so I'd say it was an advert for VX safety! It's made of fibreglass on the outside, it's never going to fair well, but the inside is a very tough aluminium tub.
You know when people Supercharge Vtecs, does anyone ever think "That's nice but it's really going against the spirit of it" - or something like that? On EK9s and stuff the idea is to beat the tits out of them to make them go anywhere, race car stylee - and a supercharger takes that away.
It's...
I just stumbled across some pictures of the Mini when doing a search for something, it really did look fantastic. Were all the mods insured like for like or what mate? It'd be a real gay if you didn't get the coins for all that work though.

You can get Glacier white like the 197 or R26 for £150, or you can pay £1,200 for Pearlescent White as an I.D. Paint option. The other I.D. paints available for the same price are Lunar Grey or Liquid Yellow. You can also have metallic paint, which is Deep Black or Nimbus, for £375. Racing...
I think the Lupo would be a bad move - it would feel glacial after your Mini, with all it's torque and bhp and I think you'd quickly become irritated by the lack of grunt, moreso just day to day in gear as the Lupo will feel very flat after the Cooper.
Don't make any decisions till you get the...
I'd have Lunar, with black wheels :) And full graphics, all the options - although I'd ask the dealer to do me a deal and get the cage but not the R888s as I wouldn't want them for day to day use.
If you go here - http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/roadcars/meganer26r/colourselector.asp - You can...
