Does the 172/cup give a better mpg than the valver?

Seeing as the 172cup has no abs, if I was to get vented discs etc. Wouldnt it mean that the car would lock up more quickly under heavy braking? So the question is.....how can you make a cup safer in terms of braking? (excluding the usual answers of slowing down)

Is this a full decat advertised on yozzasport or a sports cat? if it is a full decat, how is the problem of the lamaba sensor overcome? cheers.

People often say the integra is a better car to tune, engine wise? whereas the clio 172 is hard to tune? Right my is question is,does this mean that you get more bhp from mods to a integra in comparsion to the clio? Say, you get a better response in terms of power by adding exhaust/filter...

How much would it cost to have the whole of the 172 cup interior retrimmed in leather? cheaper than a couple of bucket seats+ a roll cage?

Shortly ill have about 7k to spend on a new car...do.i A:get a 172 mk1 and have some cash left over....b:get a full fat mk2 172 or c:buy a integra type r which would be older, but quicker. Suggestions? cheers.

Told my mum last night how some people complain the 16v is abit unreliable, and how "touch wood" my car hasnt given me any hassle at all....just fitted angel lights......go down the the road......clutch cable snaps.......joy! ar wel, although in its defence, it is general wear and tear i suppose.

Looking at buying a 182 from reno on finance. How much do anyone here pay a month and much deposit did you put down? also would it be cheaper to buy a second hand 172cup? is 10bhp worth it?

just got my clio back, so decided to go for a spin. Earlier that morning i "thought" i had insured it online.....so went i got a fine of £60 and three points, i was abit annoyed along with a producer. So when i rang tesco up to see when my certifcate was arriving they said it hadnt registered...

I changed my mind and decided to go for Hillpowers 2.0l conversion. Nick said he uses the 1.8 16v box with the 2.0l block. I was wondering, does this limit performance in any way? or will it be just as quick as a williams? ps having cams and chip as well!!! watch out tomclio16v! hehe.

After my cars been finished by hill power. will my piper cams and hill power chip work ok? or would it be wise to get on the rollers to set it up properly?

The maxi kit from Prima for the 16v.... any problems fitting it da reckon? Also if i was to get that kit would my wheels need to have spacers or would it look ok without? It the decision between that kit and the k-tec combat? your opinions please.

My 16v when finished by hillpower will have the induction kit, magnex cat back, h.p chip, cams, verniers and maybe a de-cat pipe. I wanna put it on a rolling road to see, but until then does anyone have a rough idea over standard? Also what would be the next best mod? Thinking about saving up...

Could someone pleeeeeease tell max power the proper stats of the 16v. It makes me cringe everytime seeing their stats pages. Vtrs think theyre in with a chance.
