    I don't think it should make a difference if it's wet or dry to the initial bite, its just easier to lock up in the wet so you can't brake as harshly.

    Another way to look at it is that when other road users see brake lights they react and also brake, even if they don't need to.

    I just got windows 8.1 on my desktop PC. And much to my surprise I like it. It's much better at dual screens and the interface is much slicker.

    Yeah it's them. They didn't do all of it, it was their job to fix it though as they were going on about how awful and dangerous it was.

    They don't call themselves Auto Electricians thankfully. Thanks for the offer but I can probably do it myself as I only went there 'cos I was at uni, now I am home I have access to the proper tools and wiring to fix it.

    If one tyre has more tread than the other its gonna cause the car to pull one way or the other. Plus unmatched tyres on the same axle isn't wise really.

    I do the same, its somewhat satisfying matching the revs and slowing almost to a stop without pressing the brake pedal.

    Probably emissions, there used to be a rule if it was imported without an engine and then re-assembled it was classed as a kit car and not banned. The government noticed the loop hole though.
