I used to have a 1.2 clio. I put 182 grille on it, lowered it 30mm and put 182 wheels on it. (all in all 10 bhp ;)) I didnt declare the mods then accidently wrapped it round a lampost. Rear axle ripped out the floor extensive body damage bent shell and all airbags went off, 182 wheels nackered...
Take the car to someone who has clip and knows how to work it properly. Get them to reconfigure the airbag computer. This is what I did when I fitted my trendlines. Light still goes through pre check then stays off! Happy days
Picked up my refurbed wheels from the bodyshop. Re-painted front and rear callipers and pad carriers. Regreased c.v joints and replaced missing clips. Replaced front discs and pads with brembos and replaced rear pads. Changed brake fluid. Cleaning and an amateur detail day tomorrow!
Well given that the thread title is "exhaust mounts" and that Iam a mechanic I sort of gathered that but from the photo it looks like its broken away from the exhaust.
Renault did some of this stuff. That was 6 years ago mind.
Did loads when I was a teccy never had a problem, just requires decent masking with masking tape and a steady hand.
I replaced my 182's belt when it was about 6 and a half years old it was the original belt and it had done iirc approx 40k. When I took the plastic idler off and looked at it I noticed a split in the plastic right down to the bearing. I couldn't believe it and have never seen anything like that...
