Whats the general concencious on the quality and value for money from having ur clio serviced by Renault? How much do you reckon itll cost for a full service on my 16v, just the basics like oil change, plugs, timing, etc?

When using full lock steering i often hear an occasional squeak from the wheels i think. But i thought it was the fact i had 17s, but now ive got 15s on it, the noise still does it occasionally. Anyone elses 16v do this? Mine hasnt been lowered. :o

Ive just put the orig phase 2 wheels on my 16v from it having 17s on it since i bought it. The smoother ride (gears & bumps), MUCH quicker pick-up and general feel of driving it has made me consider keeping 15s, but the standard wheels look AWFULL! I reckon Williams wheels would suit, only...

My mates picked up his Renault 5 GT Turbo and boy is its not slow, putting his foot down in 5th has the same effect as dropping it in my 16v at about 75mph. His cars only had a group A carb and turned the turbo boost up a bit (aprox 160bhp:o) , but it can pull away from me at mid to top range...

Not that big of a problem, under hard breaking they can be usefull but at low speed the system sometimes goes mental, on and off for NO reason, meanwhile ur heading for the kerb with pathetic brakes. My K&N induction kit makes a hissing sound at around 2-3000 revs, have i got a hole in my gasket or is this normal and simply the sound the K&N makes? Does yours do the same, please rep.
