Plastidip. Did mine around 8 months ago and they are still perfect. It's matte black and great finish. Just make sure you dry around and under the badges thoroughly as if any water seeps from behind it can cause bubbles. Do really thin coats every 10-15 minutes, about 5 -6 coats.

This happened on my mates old 1.2, garage checked it out and it was fine, condensation as you say.

The one touch does that second 'click' when you press it far enough for it to move by itself. In my mk3 at least the passenger doesn't have the second click. I've thought about doing this, may have to go to the breakers and get another one touch switch to pop in.

Need to put the front end of my mk3 1.2 on stands tomorrow for some jobs. Just want to make sure I've got the stand points right. I know I put the trolley jack here... Am I right in thinking I'd put the stands under the ridge in this photo... Don't want to end up putting the stand through...

The fog lights are in the rear lights on a ph1 so they wouldn't work as the ph2 has the fogs in the lower bumper, unless you made a loom to wire them up. Pretty sure the fit in as the RS200 has ph1 lights. I think they look sh*t though, the ph2 lights are really nice lights. Keep them!

It's a 1.2 mate, no brembos. I'm thinking it will be 260 but the 280 is showing too so i was wondering if i could use them.

I'm planning on changing the front disks on my mk3. ECP do Pagid disks in 260mm and 280mm flavours which both show up in results when I put my reg in. Will they both fit? Obviously I'm swaying towards 280mm if they will but I don't trust their reg search sometimes. Cheers Dom

That looks great! are you using the H&R springs with the original dampers? I want to get some but i was worried it might be too much drop for the dampers.

If the piper cross is a cone filter the sound shouldn't be too different, if it's a panel, the K&N will make you smile.
