I'd recommend if you havnt already running 15s with federal rsr tyres for road going and 888's for modified.
my setup for this year which you could do is get some polished and ported matched inlets and k-tec induction kit that and a decent exhaust made wonders to my car this year and you could...
Hi mate.
the frame only has to meet the design of the msa book as hill climbs are not as strict as roll cages are actually optional in road going and modified road going.
front brakes were good plenty of bite red stuff and brembos on front and ferodo on the rear, I found instant bite.
what...
Thought I'd do an update here.

Yes this year I have only competed at loton park mostly because its on my door step and secondly out of the local courses apparently one of the more difficult ones. I plan to compete again next season here while I sort out a trailer ect to take it to other events.
the setup of the car is quite...
Oh I know how good coaching is, I started last year with one event and was looking at 73/74 second runs, I then did a driver coaching day and yeah I did a few mods but now I'm down to a 63.2 so a little improvement but I learnt most from the day learning the lines.
My main competition are 205gti...
Oh I'm aware of the costs this car has already cost me a fortune but worth it as I plan on keep on keeping this long term. I had been thinking of getting a 2nd box and get it rebuilt with LSD and lower ratio but not sure where I can get it done in Shropshire.
Yeah that could help but have been told it doesn't suit some cars, I'm down to 63.2 at the moment and I know the car can go faster as there were over trying errors in that run. I've also been looking at putting an enlarged throttle body on again and this time having it mapped to deal with the...
Well I'm coming to the end of a pretty successful first year hill climbing and as next year will be alot harder I'm looking to what I can do to make the car more competitive.

Well I thought I'd put a quick update on this....
since the last update on the car I've fitted a half cage, solid race spec engine/gearbox mounts, stripped the lower dash out and anything not needed, bought some ktr top mounts to fit still have the polycarbonate windows, fibreglass bonnet and...
Has anyone got any experience with tyre pressures at hill climbs?
im running 29 in the front and 25 in the rear and it don't feel stable at the back.
Any advice?
As the title says how on earth do you remove the lower dash? I've removed the 3 screws from under the blue trim where else is it attached? It's a 2002 cup
Yeah I had a problem last year with a late entry, he was supposed to be replaced this year but I guess he hasn't been! Hat was the problem with your entry? What cars your brother entering?
