That's right Niall but it's all the same size and is aperture shaped and seven sided and only appears in one shot I took all evening which was of car lights, might even be internal reflections of the aperture.
Niall it's lens flare mate, all same small aperture size. But I'll try and clone out the worst so thanks for the heads up!

My image above was on front page of explore on Flickr. Hence the high views. Some people put images in up to 60 groups on Flickr but you just get those spam comment awards.
Heres a few examples of my own street snaps. Really helps having a waist level viewfinder i.e a flip down lcd screen. Also keep your camera in your hand not round your neck!

The people shots are the strongest imo with the waiting for the tube shot my favorite.
The night shots all look a little soft, even at this small size. It could be camera shake blur or slightly out of focus. Looking at Big Ben, houses of parliament in first shot, buildings to left of...
The Sony alpha is a better camera than the Nikon, better sensor, has in body image stabilization, has in body focus motor, full-time live view, 8 frames per second etc, given most slr owners Don't go beyond the kit lens its an easy choice imo.
Others will say the Nikon has a much larger lens...
I like 3 but focus should have been on the eyes, 4 would have been great if I had eye contact with the model. 5 had great potential as it's a lovely street scene, but the doorframe taking up more than half the frame doesn't add anything and detracts from an otherwise great pic. Be braver next...
