Re: Jan 2014 - Meet & Greet
Hi buddy, sorry it's my 1yr wedding anniversary that weekend on the 26th if I slide the Mrs for a car meet I'd likely wake up with no " nuts " :rasp:
Ill defo make the next meet though!
Love that colour and it looks nice and clean, looking at the pic it seems ur windows have been darkened slightly so I'd stick with the wheel colour u have as it works well with them
Cheers Gally, been reading ur threads for some tips on detailing the car, it's a great colour when it's done, I seen the pics from when u had done it previously, reckon I might ask if I can book myself in once all the crap weather passes early next year, it was seeing those pics that sealed the...
Thanks for the comment and Defo agree ;) once were into January they are on my to do list, I don't want too much at the front given it's pretty low on the coilovers but 5 or 10 mm is were I'd start and see how we go
Both the Qashqai and Clio were looking a little sorry for themselves having done a fair bit of xmas present transporting ;)
Thought they had earned a nice clean , getting my daughters paw prints off the back windows of the clio was great fun, why did i give her that bar of...
It seems the new 200t's are going to go through a "marmite " phase, I've yet to see one in the flesh but overall it looks a nice bit of kit and I'm sure there will be plenty mods released over the coming months to help shape them into everyone's tastes
Enjoy the new car , u can't beat that new...
Welcome along buddy, shame about the Teg, looked a really nice example aswell!
There's a few nice cups in the for sale and on PH so sure ull have ur hands on one soon ;)
Really clean clio and defo suits the white, reckon the 5dr look will take a bit of time to grow on people, for me only the old seat leon carried that look off!!
Markr that is 1 epic looking RS......... Passed u the other week on Glasgow Road and couldn't believe how clean it was , love the old...
Cheers lads, u ain't too far away from me over there in Fife, hopefully there will be a local meet soon, if nothing else it will be a good laugh seeing all the " Gaz's " from the forum in Scotland all in the 1 spot :)
Lol, I reckon it'll be interesting if we all meet for a pint :) reckon we wld be best to use our forum names to keep it simple!!! Really like ur 182, my budget couldn't quite stretch that far though
Cool , cheers for that ill have a look tomorrow " cable ties at the ready " if I can't fix it atleast it's in at Rentech next week and on there ramps it should be quite an easy fix
Djw John , thanks for the heads up on the height sensor, is it a relatively easy fix? I'm not the greatest at car DIY but willing to get my hands dirty and give it a try :)
Thanks Jezza, I dont see too many clio sports around that often so be good to catch up with you boys , there is a Trophy I see quite a bit in Edinburgh, looks like its running coilovers n stuff , not sure if he's on the forum though
I've been lucky, the guy who had it before Gaz looked after it well and I think only added the steering wheel recently, it's got the odd wee bit that i'll get looked at but for its age its in good condition, plus as ive said compared to my diesel Qashqai the clio feels like an F1 car !! lol
