Gutted if you was local I'd give you a hand. I've put all my new interior in today funnily enough. I read a couple of threads saying how hard it was, I really have no idea what they are on about. You don't need to drop the entire roof lining like I did, there is an easy way. Pm me and I'll send...

    1.2 Project - ted48

Easy. I've been swapping every last bit of interior, not broken anything. Sunroof leaking?

What I'm doing to my daily dci is the inside, sport interior, steering wheel, decent sound system (no sub), fit cruise control and change the dash light colour. Out side will just tidy up. A boggo Clio will look chavy done up imo. I may lower mine on h&r springs if I decide to do a track day

    Finding a leak

The reason I didn't want to go genuine is they are proven to fail and leak. When I scraped the original seal off it did seem poor. As @fairm010 said its also a lot of money. If it was a good seal and I had faith in it I'd pay it, but I have no faith in the seal. Glad its worked for you though

    Finding a leak

I I went to b&q, wickes and another small hard ware store looking for something like that but found nothing suitable. It's really pissed me off as I hate doing anything twice.

    Finding a leak

Cheers mate, always like to think I'm doing it the best I can. But after today I'm beginning to wish I hadn't bothered lol. I had some double sided seal in my garage so I used that, hasn't worked :( so going to use a weather proof sealant. Didn't want to bond it, but at least I know it won't...

It all depends, as for as I know if your car is insured its legal no matter what you've said to the insures. Told that by my copper friend. But, if you have a crash or similar and the insurance company find out you have undeclared mods, your insurer will void your insurance you will then be...

Sweet my DCI is a ph3 lol. I was banned mate before I passed my test, don't ask. The way I looked at it, I was paying £2k+ to insure when average insurance then was sub £1k. I wanted nice cars but didn't want to pay any more than I had to, never declared anything, after three years sent my...

    Finding a leak

I pulled my interior out as I'm replacing it, but wanted capets and foam up anyway to dry off, while doing that found a previous owner had drilled holes in the floor to drain the water!!!!!! What a clever guy. Took the whole roof lining down so I can dry the lining out and get as much water out...

    Finding a leak

Explain how I'd do it before I did all this? Or am I being a bit dumb. Plan is to remove sun roof, good inspection and seal in place. Proper job in my eyes

    Finding a leak

Nope. Only joking yeah, bloody sunroof pouring in. It was one of them looking up the bulk head for ages, had the scuttle off ect then looked up at the roof and thought, that looks wet lol

Demon tweaks are normally expensive. Never looked for a 1.2 but I'd just Google search or get a custom one made. What you wanting to do?

Yet another Clio. 55 RB 182.

Looking forward to seeing the pics, looks such a clean motor

    1.2 Project - ted48

Not too hard to do a sport rep, but I think it's a bit pointless. Cost £200-300 in bumpes, wings and skirts. £150-200 on wheels and about £200 on interior and steering wheel. As for your problems you seem to have diagnosed them, so just a case of doing them. Only thing I'd say is I'm in the...
