Ive read after searching that something can be lube'd is it the clutch cable itself something else?
A new clutch cable is the best...
I gave my exhaust surrounds 2x coats of G|techniq when I first bought it hoping it would keep the exhaust surrounds looking dressed/black at all times.
But the heat from the exhaust seems to make them look faded so I'm still needing to give them a wipe over with trim care.
Has anyone painted...

I'm helping a mate try to get rear speakers wired up in his campus.

I'm slowly ironing out the small creases with the car i.e. missing things.
Can anyone take a pic of what secures this plastic bracket holding the pipe? its just another thing i want to sort.
I might just put a black bolt and nut through it, or a plastic split pin... Any suggestions would be good.
I wasnt sure where to put this, the car isnt a clio is a honda civic 1.6 on 128k miles.
Its my girlfriends mum's and she use it a few times a week, being a honda it runs well still, its been serviced on and off by a friend mechanic of hers but tbh i wouldnt say its been treated like a baby car...

Having a look at my foot pedals today I've decided if OEM replacements don't cost silly money I might replace them as the metals worn and pitted.
I see the shiny pedals are riveted over black base pedals, has anyone replaced there and know roughly how much they cost?
I imagine id just have to...
I know this is a Clio section but if mods could allow this one thread I need help with my girlfriends car please.

Im not sure if it is called that still but i would guess its an upper inlet manifold?
Anyway the front left hole for one of the engine cover bolts has the thread stripped out, that and i want to paint the inlet black but at the same time want to really keep the one it has on at the moment...
Im turning to CS because i know there must be someone that can help me, ive recently re installed windows 7 on my computer and used some of the programs i needed from the mobo disc, but im using VIA HD Audio Deck and the sound on dvd's fluctuates from scene to scene so badly, so if i remove it...

Well even though there's an invoice for a cam belt change and a stamp in the book at 44k ish it was with the dealer who sold the car to the previous owner, and being concerned about what was changed, if it was just the cam belt itself, no tensioners or what not and if the aux belt was changed...
Not that i want to admit to this but im still beating myself up for being so stupid, I was late for work and I left my xenon lights on (I presume these sap the battery quickly) on for a good 5 hours, In a hurry i jumped out of the car, even looked back as i locked it but the sun stopped me from...
I'm a bit out of the computer knowledge ring at the moment, I need a 2TB hard drive for my media storage, my OS drive is a 500GB IDE drive and current media drive is 1TB sata, so the plan is to transfer the 1tb to the 2tb and use the 1tb sata as my newer OS drive which should be faster i guess...
Ive seen you about before mate, silver 182 (could be 172) didnt get a look at the tail pipes, k tec stickers on the boot lid...

So soon i should be getting my replacement exhaust,
Ive only rang a few garages but im getting in the region of around £60-90 (if there's no extra work required) for them to fit an exhaust.
Not too bad prices i think but id like to fit the exhaust myself on the drive, taking my time, using...

So after finding out both my front wheels had excessive play and finding the clunk which had shown itself was possibly the passengers ball joint nut being loose after the joint had developed play, i changed both sides outer track rods.
The passengers wheel play left to right improved a lot...
Both sides of my cars outer track rods have play, and need to be replaced, do i need to go for Lemforder parts? or will After markets be ok?
After market...
I've developed a new problem with the 182... since ive had the car its been fine but since having it I noticed a very slight sound when moving off, whatever it is has developed into a clunk when turning corners or over bumps and is increasing now..
I've just jacked the car up and tried the top...
Not that ive paid much attention to the door mechanism before, apart from changing a clicking door strap on my 1.2... i see now (after i thought the door was going to fall off) there are two hinges with bolts and a clip going through.
The top hinge the bolt goes in from underneath? makes sense...
I searched "Osram xenon" but didnt get my answer
