If oil was contaminating the friction material the clutch would most defiantly be slipping and be unlikely to cause judder. Clutch judder is normally felt when pulling off in first gear or low speed driving. Where are you feeling the judder through? the clutch pedal?, whole car in general...

Have you just fitted the itb's and now it wont start? Or did the car already have itb's and its started playing up?

I read your thread the other day aswell, im not a superstitious kind of person but damn! If its around the aux area then pump is very likely to be at fault, just make sure its not something else as when your driving the coolant would have gone everywhere making it hard to pinpoint.

Yeah I know, I have heard or people using 4-1 manifold for the sake of better top end though, I don't think either is better, just different power delivery tbh, depends where you want your power haha!

I wondered this, b****cks to changing the manifold as its not a nice job iirc, 4-2-1 and 4-1 don't offer much in terms of noticeable gains anyway, one offers better low-mid range and the other offers more high end power (4-1 iirc)

Just check if the lower inlet manifold is stamped 'RS' on the outer of the manifold on middle inlet tracks. The manifold marked 'RS' has better machining/port match than the original ones, there are still gains to be had but not as much. I did mine this week and was glad I did. unfortunately to...

The 182's are just as hard to get over 200bhp even thought they should have a higher initial output than the 172's (supposedly). I had my 182 RR'd at 172bhp/153fltbs so no wonder...its hard enough to get them above the 182 they should have lmao.

I removed my upper and lower inlets this evening, the lower inlet is RS stamped, and after measuring the port on the head and then the corresponding port on the manifold using a internal vernier caliper, I concluded that the ports on the lower inlet were around 1-2mm smaller all the way around...

Welcome, the only way to get the ecu out of the guard case is brute force unfortunately, it is possible, but there is no easy way iirc.

Ok so I got a bit bored today and decided to try and smarten up the engine bay, I dug out some carbon vinyl wrap I have and had a go at wrapping the engine cover, it was a mare but turned out ok. I also lacquered the vinyl aswell to give it a bit of shine/protection, and made good use of a spare...

Top of the rocker cover nearest the cambelt side, has a plug on it.

I would have thought its just and oil seal o ring/gasket, so a cheap fix. I would clean all the oil away so its spotless, drive the car and see where its coming from :)
