So as I've got a nexus 5 which is was/am very pleased with, and the price point suits outright purchase/SIM only within what I can justify, what would people replace it with?
I really like these, the whole concept behind them and the cars themselves, I just cant comprehend building a 2 litre car making 200bhp in 2015 and having it only do 35mpg on a run.
The threaded portion of the rod ends is under bending forces and they shouldnt be, Id be doing it more like this:
With the rod ends fastened to the alternator and idler bracket with bolts, in single shear, but to save making the hex part, you can get away with two female rod ends and some...
Id do it the other way around if it would fit, two bolts through the two flanges and the rosejoins in female form on the bar so that they're not in bending.
I have a stripped and caged car on spherical bushes and used it on the road - fun when you're on it, but pretty miserable driving to work, in a city, in traffic, in a suit.
Love it on the track though, much more raw and to be honest, you can feel a 50kg weight saving (although you'll have had...
I've got a set and the drivers side is knocking when on the ground but of course tightens up when you jack the car up so its taken a little while to find!
I see they do service kits, has anyone here rebuilt a pair? Whats involved?

I like running proper tyres in summer so won't ever compromise on running all seasons all year round and once you have a second set of wheels its better to just run proper winters.
Most people who've tried them tend to never go back - unless they bought cheap s**t tyres (which are always awful...
Shame about the Ratsun, but it was another great episode. I've caught up with hot rod garage and started on dirt everyday now. The list of old American shite I'd like to drive is lengthening by the day!
Excellent, that crosses the 65 off the list :P 100 would be nice, but I assume being a different box any non DCI 100 parts dont fit.... Which leaves the 85 :)
Looking for a second budget commuter vehicle to rack lots of dual carriageway miles onto and these look to make a degree of sense.
Who's got one? What sort of fuel consumption do you get? Would you have another?
I believe there were several different engine power options, anyone know the...
That's exactly what I was trying to avoid.....
Not an ECP fan, less contact the better!

Are these the ones? Rears are 15
Ahh, so you can truly 'bolt in' a bolt in cage, as opposed to having to weld in bases? What do they do for the other feet? Clever idea really, never seen it before!
Cant comment on the standard chairs as mine has buckets and is stripped, but I fitted the buckets as low as I could and hard outboard against the cage to try and line them up better with the pedals. I've got an aftermarket boss and deep dish wheel on it too, the only issue Im left with is that...
