Pretty normal the leak as they all do it from the selector seal. Then spreads everywhere:(
picture on the right looks like there is a slight weep from the sump or rocker cover and making its way down.
Best thing to do is clean it all up the best you can and monitor...
everyone has been scare mongered into changing the dephaser at every belt service, if servicing has been kept on top of and you know the history they last a long time.
waterpump failure are becoming more common now due to age
Get a new aux belt kit fitted asap.
They have just replaced the belt imo. Reason for aux snapping is either due to age, or somethings seized either way it NEEDS!! New aux kit.
Don't put silicone or anything before the cat. If it ends up going inside it can hinder the workings of the catalyst.
K-tec sell the genuine kit (few quid more).
As addicted above has said its will most likely be something else mis aligning it or maybe user error?
But renault spent loads of time and effort on suspension so it worked with a specific wheel from standard.
Yes i can understand that a lighter wheel (which i have fitted) does redhuce unsprung mass. But is the car not setup to carry that extra mass??

Also to those who say the cars loads better on 15's etc etc.
If that is the case then why did renault not fit that size to the mk2 ph2 then? Surely the cars was setup suspension wise and so on for 16's. And if the benefit was that good on 15's they would have fitted them...
