No body would know that an engine is about to drop a valve. Sheer unlucky in this situation.

There isn't enough "meat" on the circlip to drill and bolt it correctly. The renfort plates ive orderd in the past have arrived in under 5 working days.

Weld won't hold. Renfort plate is the best way.

Re: Very annoyed - rebuilt whole suspension with new mounts and now I have a knock?! Remove the washer. It does absolutlely nothing with the new style mounts. Tbf it never done anything with the old style.

Brand new genuine shock absorbers,wishbones and top mounts is what i have just done. Its now like driving a different car..

After having a gander on here it looks like its the offside thats wrong and the side with camber is correct. Thanks for your input northloopcup;)

From what i can gather the shock mounting hole is 2mm out from where its meant to be. Only problem is which one lol. Standard form clios don't carry enough camber to stick out like a sore thumb do they? Passenger side with camber..

Problem solved. Shall update when back on the laptop.

Yep rubbage shall be bad i would say. But if you have none now you must have a funny wheel offset! Any ideas ehat it is? What wheels do you have?
