Never tried m&k
Bmd were ok but nothing special, durability on a daily was average at best, they just didnt resist bonded contaminants very well. Can't remember the price of a full pot but wasn't tempted at all to buy a full pot of any.
DW were quite nice to use and remove, always performed...
I did my Golf headlights a few weeks back. Started with 1500 grit wet and dry, 2000, then 2500grit then polished up to finish. Removed all hazing and pitting and look new. Used less than half a piece of sand paper to do both headlights
Don't know anyone that's used the lemon IX yet. I had a sniff of the cherry version but stuck with the normal version.
Clio cjd, try another wash and QD wipe down unless you really want to strip it all back and start again.
Carpro do a glass polishing kit IIRC, but you won't see any real results without a machine polisher. and if the glass gets too hot when polishing with machine it can break or crack etc so with little experience in machine polishing I wouldn't recommend it personally
there's nothing wrong with Z2 on any colour or finish really, its always a good performer. You might be able to get a little more depth or glow from a wax, or maybe menzerna powerlock but I wouldn't bother changing until you run out of Z2
I always used the older versions of menz, 3.02, 203s, and 106fa IIRC.
Finding that scholl working time is quite short, especially S3 and 17 in comparison to menzerna
Just because the beads are not uniform in shape does not always mean the wax is failing. More often than not it's something with the wax. This can be an area where the prep wasn't perfect and contamination left on parts of he panel. The wash process not removing all debris on the panel. The...
Apply it as thinly as possible, if you can clearly see it on the panel you've likely applied it too thick. I normally apply to a couple of panels before going back to buff it off, but as always air temperature and humidity plays a part in bow long it takes to cure. After applying swipe your fi...
I don't like applying wax and sealants with DA so I wouldn't use the blus pad, the black pad can be used for finishing and is good for soft paints, plus its soft enough to apply glazes, pre wax cleansers and wax and sealants should you wish. so it becomes more useful than blue so may be a better...
Hexlogic orange, green, white cover pretty much all bases. Black if you're keen to use DA for waxes and sealants as you can use it for polishing of soft paint also.
Stick with the megs polish and see how you get on, vary the compound and pad combo till you fi d something that works well with...
