I've got Cobra Evo's in my car. Normal driving is fine, you just need to be more aware around you due to the restrictions. Reversing is a pain so I keep that to a minimum lol. If you come to a sharp junction and cant see to the right of you, just slacken the belts off then tighten them after.
They have got better over the weekend I must admit, just don't want to risk them at Donington next month. I've been using DS2500 on my OE brakes for the past year or two so would rather stick with them over other makes.
I've got some Mintex 1144's on my Wilwood calipers (Midlite version), they are pap so looking for something with more bite.
I've found some for the Dynalite version, but not 100% sure if they are correct... http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m49b132s4052p53513
Does anyone know where...
The EJM one was a standard car, was done up for the Dunlop Maxx series. It has standard suspension iir, has been done to a high standard though. I've sat in it every now and again when I visit the place lol.
Re: Dave.'s Cammed, 2118'd Carbon obsession
I think the paint gives over time and they can come lose. You can buy them plastic caps if you want to tart them up, or get them chemically blacked like I'm going to do.
I'm sure this has been covered in this thread or similar (can't find it sorry). What sort of budget do you need for these type of race series? PM me if need be :)
Do the seats flex much on the existing rails? Do they sit any higher than with cobra x-low subframes? You have given me an idea to fabricate something up in work :)
cheers, will give it a miss as i don't want to start a fire in work, nor get the health and safety people moaning with the fumes lol.
Matt, i'll call you next week. Been a busy bee and not had time to do so in regards to my last PM.
I know there is another thead but don't want to hijack it...
Can this stuff be laser cut? Only asking as I can get this done at work but obviously don't want to feck anything up if not sure...
Thanki,
Mike
