hi i bought some lowering springs for my clio the seller cant remeber what brand they were, as they were only on the car a few weeks and then he went lower.
they are black 35mm drop and he says cost im £135+vat, which suggests to me eibach springs, as spax and apex are yellow and g-max and pi...
streetis cheaper than the car park. with bell. street an drive way seem to make naff all difference when it comes ot the location, but garage is still chepar but only by about £3 ( literally) the fun but is tha tif some one wanted to knick my car from my house they would need to move 4 cars and...
looks really nice, not usually a fan of the 106/saxos despit owning one in my yoof( much cheapness) it has just the right amount of nose down. there is about round my way and he has about a 90mm drop in the front of hi saxo and wat looks like 120 raise on the rear, so it sits at littereally a 30...
yeah but its no slower than a 1.2 lol, i'm pretty sure an ethyopian cold beat me in my commute each day lol.
anychance of car sharing with some one? or is ther another car you can use? How old are you btw?
i bought some lowering springs off a member here and they arrived today but i think he has sent me 4 rear springs?
all 4 in profile are oval with tighter radius coils at the top and bottom. but two are a butshorter and fatter than the other two.
shouldnt front ones just be cylindrical with...
yep they wont let you have it unless you are keeping your car for 2 year,s its a tracker, and is meant to keep you off the roads between the danger times of 10pm and 6am..
the send you a £25 penalty every time the ingition is turned on during this time, plus as its pay monthly your payments are...
as above, are they any good, i'm thinking of replacing all the bulbs in the front so they are the all same colour, and i'm tempted by power bulbs bogof offer and if i place 2 orders i get 2 sets of free blue vison sides, so i can get my brother to go halves.
but are they any good, much better...
have you replaced the fuse? it should reset its self. the radia has 2 fuses, one for the radio and one for the radio and lighter (accessories), if the lighter fuse has poped it disconncts the "accessory" circuit of the ignition. or something to that effect.
declare all options that are obvious, like xeon litght the cup suspention packs the different allowys if a pplicable, and the seats, if the worst come to the worst they would only replace with standard parts, if they dont void the insurance.
use the same one in it, it could have been a charger put in the lighter which shorted it, thats what happened to mine, my satnavs sharger fell to bits when i tried to take it out the lighter socket and it sparked.
when it comes to mods ther is no set guideline, like suspension £40, exhaust £40, remap £100, it depends on what mod and your own circumstances, and alot of insurers wont allow mods under 21 and some under 25.
with bell, its £46 to drop the car upto 50mm, and a whack more to go lower than...
fleebay mate. or powerbulbs.co.uk, i suppose it depends on the bulb type. ebay you can get 2 pairs for £20 or on powerbulbs its £15 posted a pair but because its over £10 you get some bluevision sidelight bulbs free.
i never know what the script is in here, becaus if you post a new thread the repost police will be on your back but if you open this one back up after a while then you might get stick for reviving an old thread, ita a catch 22.
as above which are the better bulb? i want to get rid of the orange in the lights, i keep hearing silvervisions getting mentioned only in pics they do look quite orangey where as the silvatecs look completely silver but Ive read they don't flash very brightly.
But is there any one who has tried...
if they are 60 drop springs you'll need dampers too any thing klower than 40mm needs new dampers.
again you should proabbly check with thour insurers before doing anything more, because woudl will be stuffed if your insureres wont accept mods.
it would be sill not to tell them, apparently you fail an mot if they cant get your car on the ramps so it need to clear enought to get on ramps ar least lol.
i think the sport grill is an insurance jobby, the rest i wouldnt wory too much about.
i'm gonna see about a campus grill, but as its is for a 1.2 renault clio, i'm pretty sure it wont add to my policy but i'll run it past them any way.
if its the same one i see almost daily he cuts off at tannochside heading towards veiwpark/uddingston. it looks cracking its got private rege on it, but i cant rember what it was
they are standard spec on most new cars, but eddie the car guru on here doesnt rate the flat blades he has other bosch ones he swears by.
i have the flat one and they are really good however just because of the clios reverse wiper position, where our driveres ithe cars passenger wiper, the...
i'm with bell now i'm 21 and have 1 ncb ime now about £650 on my 1.2, should be £500's next year. to be £1100 on a 182, must be garaged, and only insured for about 5k a year, witha 2k excess, either that or its fronted.
Lying about your NCB is grounds to void your insurance, and if you have a...
times i done know dunno you could barely see the read out. when we were ther there were only 2 1*2s some guy i dunno who he was has a 172, with white turinis ( not rufus) and col182's 182.
but no one was getting great times, the track was too damp.
as a above for the 172, and probs the best part of 2k for the 1.6.
it was £1300 for me at 20 with 2 years experience for a 1.2, ona 1.4 is was quoted over £1500, and the 1.6 was about £1850, and a 172 was £2700 the cheapest i could get fully comp, because the cheapest company i found...
