you probs woulndt get much benefit on a 1.2, i suppose anythign is possible since the 1.6 had drum on the early ones than discs on the latter ones. an easier option could be to paint them silver, could make them appear more disc like.

looks like you could have caught it on a speed hump or kerb, it should clip back on form the looks of it.

if its the hole then i'm sure a but of silicon or some gaffa tape from the inside would sort it, but i'm not sure if the hole is required for drainage purposes.

Even if it was parked outside his house not being driven, if it was on the road (public highway), it needs insurance by law, and i think its 5 points minimum if the police catch you uninsured being uninsured.
