Heh, I did wonder what difference it actually made TBH :) The hard ones do allegedly last longer mind you - from what I've read on DW. They can't be more irritating to apply than Collonite to be fair hehe!

Oh I should maybe point out, I got these results on a Civic Type R, so soft Honda paint, and also on a N plate Red Fiesta, and an 03 Seat Arosa - but that was very light swirling. Also I did some light correcting on my Vee, but that was very minimal, ditto my mates Astra Coupe.
Dan
<shrug> I can't remember where we read that now, but the polishing pad with the #83 got rid of all the swirls - although it's possible we spent a lot more time doing it than we had to ;)

How will we all be parking? Just everyone in lines, or like, all the 172s together and sorted by colour, all the R27s together by colour, all the 182s together by colour etc etc - Cos I reckon that would look dead cool hehe :) Although might be a nightmare to sort :D
I use Dodo Juice Light Fantastic on my LY - because it's the pot I already had heh, and the Dodo website says really it can be used on anything - I've used it on black cars with great results. The Dodo seems to give an amazingly 'bright' shine and beads the water off really well. Personally...
Just for your confidence - I got a G220 having not even seen a machine polisher in real life, and got great results first time :) My advice would be to wash your car, then clay it, then if you want to remove swirls, use the polishing pad and the #83 polish - then take your time and the results...
Considered ditching it for an aftermarket bit of lovely shinyness? I recommend the K-Tec - I had it on my Vee and it looked AWESOME and sounded barely louder than standard till you were really going for it, then it emitted some lovely pops on the overrun :)
On an OT note - when does yours...
Possible packaging reasons, or maybe to make it a big quieter a la the Astra/Civic Type R air boxs that have ridges and stuff in to quiet them down. All part of making the Ph2 more civilised and 'refined'.

Looks cool :) Although that gap just to the left of the trumpet would irritate me if it was mine. Also I'd maybe try find some black tubing for the feed as that shiny foil stands out a bit. But that's just tiny details TBH, good job on the DIY Maxogen :)
Where is the best place to get this? I was about to order from K-Tec when I noticed the postage they wanted was eight quid - And one of my pet peaves (mainly from years as an eBayer) is people over charging for post! It's just a random personal principal heh, if there's no where else I'll of...
I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't stand iTunes on Windows. Google shows me a few solutions, not many for the touch though, mainly for the normal ipods. Looking for some recommendations as to the best way from peoples experiences though? Heard of Floola - seems a good option, anyone...
Sweet. Starting 23rd June, we're doing The Ring, then down to Monaco, via Davos/Stelvio pass, San Bernadino Pass, Col De Turini etc :) Basically the Top Gears greatest driving roads episode :D

Jesus wept Matt those are some weapons... Make the AWD Clio - You know you want to hehe ;)
I'd quite like an NA 182, with the 6 speed box from the 197, an LSD, and about 250 high revving BHP. Stripped, caged, with big brakes and a decent suspension set up (Ledas maybe). That would ROCK :)

Mines showing 31mpg at the moment. It's been average length runs since I filled it. Planning on giving it some beans today when it comes back from been serviced and getting the arm thing done under warranty :)
Doing long journeys, is 300 miles from a tank realistic then?
I'd get a diesel Clio/Fiesta. Neither are fast, and the better diesels (DCi 106 etc) are just as quick, and much quicker in gear (and cheaply mapped for more grunt) - so if you're gonna have average/low performance, you may as well have good MPG whilst you're at it :)
Although TBH, I'd just...
I'd do the RS grill, and lower it on some other alloys (they're not to my personal taste) and paint the drums/calipers black - but I like the colour coding and shine - definately has potential :)
Nice spec (although I'm not a fan of the trims hehe) - pics will be required! Also, I just added the little steering wheel trim to mine - really finishes the inside of nicely IMHO. Maybe worth thinking about...?
Justin needs to drive them all to decide. A lot of people, myself included, prefer the drive of the R27. It's personal preference. Track times mean nothing whatsoever to me personally heh!
