Im down there every weekend, look out for the ktec courtesy car ( Twingo GT ) with giant ktec stickers all over it this weekend lol :p Hardly difficult to miss.

Kills the handling in my opinion, especially on 197 apps.

If you dont take it seriously and its all abit of a laugh then i think its a great little car to have fun with. Always considered a little 1ltr mk1 clio lowered on steelies and side exit exhuast to razz around with. But if you consider yourself a serious budget modder... oh dear.

Well if thats all you can afford mate then crack on. I used to have this little mk2 1.4 clio and spent £££s on it doing it up, enjoyed driving that more than my 197.

I like it and the idea of a Williams replica 1.4 is something i wish i could have though of in my teen driving days lol. I think a stripped out back with roll cage and audio install may clash a little though.

Following on from the rear disc conversion thread for the 1.4 i have now secured a pair of 172 front calipers. Assuming i get the larger 172 brake discs, the rest should just swap right over on the original hub and brake lines? Thanks.

As said, my mind is set on the tow eyes i luv them! But the tow strap is supposed to be the next big thing in the car scene and i couldnt see it myself 2bh, and just as when it was fitted it gets alot of split opinions. Which i see as a good thing, different isnt it.

Yes mate the green clio lol, mines tucked away in the garage. Yeah not much use for them springs anywhere really lol.

Even better mate £80 complete with discs, calipers, cables and hoses ;) Got a new set of 172 calipers for the front too, all i need is the discs lol.

Yeah im gonna get a spare off renault and paint it up then cut a hole in it, considering spraying the tow eye i get off you red too :cool:. Each to their own, and personally i think tow eyes look the nuts atm!

I have the cage, and adjustable top mounts are being fitted this week so could get the camber if desired.
