The main air feed comes from the front bumper via the pipe that runs in front of the engine and down to the left had side of the airbox.
The valve your talking about senses vacuum in the manifold and opens up to allow additional air to get in. Auxillary air feed if you like.
But no havent...
I got a set of RC5+ all round in my 197 and after hearing all the stories on here i didnt know what to expect but they are very civilised, the sqeaking isnt even that bad!
Only thing i'd say is the brake dust is a little immense, but coming from EBC RedStuff i would expect that.
And the way...
Its all about the Nos ;)
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 265
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1240
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 217.14

Lol yeah i am trying to justify it 2bh, sometimes i luv it and other times i feel like i've ruined the car.
But seeing as its a strictly weekend car anyway i think im gonna keep it as it is.
+ i cant be arsed to get the seats out the loft lol.
BTW vix we got some more stuff to stick up...
I know for a fact that mine turns in sharper and feels more agile no doubt.
Besides my roll over bar is 34kg and the Nos tank is a good 15kg, all over the rear wheels so weight distribution is as std.
Its abit of character the first or even second time they let you down maybe yeah...
But to be in a dealer every other week with problems and only 7000 miles on the clock is pushing it too far, i hate em!
My car is very civilised even stripped though. No rattles, minimal extra exhaust noise ( which i luv anyway ) and apart from that it drives just like a full interior'd car wud.
Fault found at different dealer. Well I say they found it but I'm guessing they're guessing too!
Parts to be changed for new items are abs sensors x4, abs pump, abs ecu and master cylinder!
If that dont work Im assuming they'll keep changing parts until the faulty item is renewed.
Yeah its a lovely car for a little girl racer type, especially the GT turbo. Nippy enough to be exciting but not dangerous in the wrong hands lol.
Although with the Massive Ktec graphics and chrome sunstrip courtesy of Ktec its not exactly discrete.
Lol i dont have one of them :( Im sure you've got enough to spare me one though lol???
Besides i dont think im cool enough to pull the ferrari look off haha :butt:
Much appreciated mate but without a car to stand next to i'd feel like a tag along lol.
Besides Festival is literally a 5 minute walk from mine haha. Might even take the bicycle??? :rasp:
Its mainly only used for weekends still and the noise/rattles arent what bothers me its the look.
I step back and see a road car trying to be a full on track car lol, its neither one or other to me, a messy look! :dead:
And lets all be honest, it makes no difference to performance lol :boring:
Complete guessing game mate, i've had a clio with 73k on the std belt before lol, although it wasnt a sport!
Cost of repairing a snapped belt will easily be x10 the cost of replacing it. However i'd consider 46k early for a camblet change, perhaps reconsider at say 56k???
Always been a fan of the stripped out clios since i first took the back seats out my little 1.4 many years ago.
However now im all grown up and im not feeling it lately. After just buying a very expensive roll cage last month im now considering taking it back out, ditching the harnesses and...
Cars in at Renault getting stripped to the bare for a new ABS pump under warranty, been warned it could take a week + so looks like im out.
And vickyx hasnt got her car avaliable either atm due to ongoing work with ktec so we're both out unless a miracle finds us. Have fun.
Okay need an educated opinion and advice of someone whos worked on renaults before or a good technician.
Basic story i have a re-occuring problem with my car in the shape of BRAKING FAULT on the dash with a very irritating beep. Originally it'd come and stay on for say 30 or 40 miles before...
yeah it's good to finally get some sort of definative answer, took enough digging about. Glad I can now spend what would be the new ecu money elsewhere lol.
