Black Ops will sell more than Halo Reach, as it's multi-platform, not just exclusive to XBox 360
I personally won't be buying Halo, but will probably buy Black Ops, seeing as I have every COD game from 3 & up
+1
I've got both consoles side-by-side and the XBox 360 is always my first choice for gaming
in fact, if the PS3 didn't play Blurays it would have been sold by now
recently upgraded to the 360 S as well, it is very nice and now quieter than the PS3!!!
I upgraded from an Elite and love it
it is much quiter, not only in terms of fan noise, but the DVD drive is quieter too
looks awesome, gloss black and chrome, looks a more quality product and is slightly smaller too
spec wise, bigger HDD, built-in N wifi, etc...
it's all good ;)
the cheapest for just the console is £189.99 from various places
but there are some good bundle deals out there, I paid £199.99 from Currys with 3 games, which I then sold
I was a little sceptical before I got mine, as I have a decent 5.1 surround system, which is awesome for games, but you do hear more detail with the headset
you can hear things you'd not really noticed before and for games like MW2 it does help
and as others have said, a headset ideal for...
Do you have the voice volume set to 10 and 'play through TV' set via the XBox?
The Turtle Beach XLC's are good for game sound, but the volume level for speech over XBox Live is quite low, so for some games with a lot of background noise you sometimes struggle to hear people properly, ok on...
done the HDD data transfer tonight, updated my licences, etc... so it's all done & dusted now :D
first impressions, it looks small now sat next to my PS3, it might not actually be much smaller than my Elite, but it seems that way visually
it's also very quiet, I fired the Elite up a few...
got one tonight from Currys, the last one! :approve:
it was £189.99 for the console only or £199.99 with 3 games, so as anyone in their right mind would do, I went for that option as you can sell/trade the games for more than £10
had a quick look in the box, but not powered it up yet, will do...
one of my mates is actually having my Elite off me for £110 now, rather let him have it than HMV sell it for profit
means I'm not tied to HMV now though, so need to hunt for the best deal
plus points for me on the upgrade are the quietness, larger HDD, built in wirless n wifi and it looks...
I think I'm going to get one, but with no good reason, other than I want one, LOL
HMV are doing the best trade-in apparently, £110 for an Elite, then I can flog my wireless adapter too, making it a £50 /£60 upgrade for me
tempting...
it should have???
the CDE-9880R has both USB and iPod connections, I've had 2 of these HU's now, so I should know ;)
http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/products/product-singleview/cd-head-units/cde-9880r.html
so you've never linked your iPod to your current HU, but you want an iPod specific HU to replace it with!?
do you just use the USB socket with a pendrive then?
why bother?
I also have the CDE-9880R and it does everything that you'd need, but has the option to play a CD if you ever need it
they even work with the iPhone
