I was planning on fitting them myself tbh Fred. Noticed a crack in one of mine so I'm loathed to drive it anywhere, even to Micks which is only a mile up the road.
This is the reason I want to make sure I buy the right ones first time as I don't want to be without the car for too much longer.
I think some of them are 44 teeth? I was wondering if that was the change in 2002.
Heading towards genuine Renault at the mo, hate having to send stuff back, wait for the right things to arrive.
Yeah I want to get the rings and everything together, just makes it easier when fitting.
Trusting ebay the same as trusting a seller on here though surely?
I need new rear brakes on my car, a 2001 phase 1 172.
George wants £101 for discs and pads
GSF want around £130
Genuine ones at the moment £110 from Fred.
Being a tight arse though and having spent so much on my car already this month I'm looking on ebay and there's seems to be so many...
I know! I should've checked his previous posts before buying, least I didn't pay by gift though so I should get my money back.
Anyway Danny, want to buy some engine mounts? ;)
I like the phase 2 lights, really freshens up the rear end :)
I was getting so annoyed with stuff not arriving, being let down etc etc so I decided to write everything down! I've grassed Benntrevv up to the CS admins, I do still hope that he hasn't ripped me off but its not looking good.
I'll get one when I've recovered from Mick's bill!
Thinking I might give my car a wash and polish tomorrow but I'll probably just go out on my bike instead.
Today I changed the thermostat and coolant temp sensor as the temperature gauge never went to half way.
Fitted phase 2 rear lights
Fitted the footrest cover from Dan@MAD
I'm not sure a meat at Micks is really going to work, the guy has a nearly 2 year old daughter and works 6 days a week anyway.
Someone (looking at you Thomas Brentnall) needs to pick a date, time and a place. Otherwise we'll have threads like this one going on and on and on.
Just seemed a bit odd I guess. Can see the point if its a classic or something but this is a 197 cheaper than some 182s, if it was mint it wouldn't be £3495.
