Any questions you have on the straps please ask!
Anyone used one on a crop sensor? I intend to get a 70-200 Siggy f2.8 in the future but looking at something for the lower range.
I barely shoot wide so that will not be the problem. I know it uses larger filters, but anyone had experiance of this lens?
Want a fast zoom, and a constant f2.8 is...
Do like the RS-7 though - its quite discreet.
Had the opportunity to try the Matin comfort neck/shoulder strap today. Was much better than the standard strap, can be worn around neck or over shoulder. Very soft neoprene and quite bouncy!
Trouble is, having tried the BR, it just felt clumsy...
Will venture out over the South Downs this weekend. Probably take the Siggy 30 then next day the 18-135 for a bit of variety. Have the Matin comfort strap too, so will test both!
Going to try the RS7 at the weekend. Anyone noticed the buckle causing any damage to the bottom of the camera with rubbing when stored?
I don't have any big lenses yet, but this may well change in the future!
Tried some at lunch. Going for optech with uni-loop connectors. Allows me to also get optech sling strap and hand strap which can just clip on. Good value too.
Was expecting to see a 60D replacement...
But we have the 100D and 700D.

Looking to get a new strap as the standard one on my Pentax is pretty pony!
Not keen on sling straps - gave them a try and not for me.
Any recommendations?
Was looking at UP straps form the US - no idea if you can get them in the UK:

No need to start on someone's photos TBH!
Had no probs with motion with my old D40.
Although in going to break the mould here an say pentax k30 with 18-55 and 50-200. Under budget, good ISO performance, 6fps, weather sealed and lots more than your average entry level.
Just check reviews to...
They look like standard ad style pics taken with a standard camera. If that's what you wanted that's what you have.
As mentioned, if you want them for anything else, just better framing and angles would do wonders.
So much to learn with the camera and lens! Just a couple of starters... meant to get heavy snow here tomorrow so can go out and play!
Weather was so dull and grey by time I got some pics - this is with the 18-135 at iso 6400:
The only downside of the Pentax Sigma is that it has no HSM and is driven by the cameras screw drive focus system. This makes it a bit nosier.
On the upside, the screw drive is as fast if not a little faster than HSM, and its a little bit smaller than the standard version.
Not had much chance...
