I live in what I think is a D rated area now and am with Greenlight and was in an F* area before (although it was one of the most expensive boroughs in London!) and had no problem with insurance.

I went for Brembo discs, Mintex fast road pads and Goodridge hoses, BIG improvement!

I found them the cheapest quote and also it was the ease of cheap trackday cover that was a big plus! They do double the excess for track cover but the car is covered the same as on the road which is great. Not claimed on anything but they are always very quick to send out paperwork etc, next...

Mine was replaced just within the first year and they were being really anal about it, one week later and they said I would have to have a repair instead, they checked on the exact date I'd taken delivery of the car... I think I looked it up at the time to check the policy but can't quite...

I kept getting permanent errors at one point, so the whole cd player was replaced under warranty (cd player will only be replaced within the first year of the warranty).

Copy cd's always seem to get stuck in my Mac but never had one stuck in the car cd player and I use them a lot.

It all downloads and starts automatically fine, just need to know how to keep it on the mac lol!

see I don't have a problem with that, it never signs me out once I'm logged in and using it, I just have the problem that the whole application keeps disappearing the next time I log in...

version 6 was out yesterday seeing as I had to download it again anyway!

ah no it just appeared there when downloaded but when i turned the mac on tonight it was still there but wouldnt log in, kept trying then just disappeared... where do I drag it from?? :S

Had given up on msn as it wouldnt work but downloaded it yet again the other day and it's now working for once!! but it keeps disappearing from the dock and I have to download it again, what am I doing wrong :S

Should go with Greenlight then! £50 for cover, excess only double the normal road policy excess (so hundreds not thousands) and value of car covered.

Greenlight cover full value of car as per road policy, just the excess doubles. As asked above, CCI are good for one off cover, bit more expensive though. What's up with Castle Combe then??

Really? What about the ones that aren't driveable and are trailered away, surely the insurance would query a massive accident with no witnesses? :S
