47k isn't that high in the large scheme of things but it is for a 55 plate. That has to be one of the last though so im guessing it may have a bit of warranty left?
They all sound abit rough on idle, more so the 182's than the 172's in my experience.
You after a 172 FF (Xenons, leather, climate etc)
or a 172 Cup (the proper one).
There are early 197s on the trader for £9.5k, £8.5k tops for a trophy unless you can find a nutter whos desperate for one. I blame the cheap 197 Cups that people were getting for under £12k new!
Is it the standard Renault h/u, and a kind of ticking sound? Mine did that bascially means its on the way out, stick a cleaning disk in there though and the sound goes away for a few days, thats what I did just before I sold the car lol!
Go third party.
The excess will be massive if you stack it so you wouldn't claim anyway, and also if you did claim you would lose your NCB. Works out cheaper in the long run.
Lol, good on you for doing your research but I don't even know what im cooking for dinner tonight let alone what car I may be getting in a year and a half!
Lose all the stickers. All of them!
As I said in the original thread looks spot on, im not sure about the rear plate surround though, can't you find a Renault specific one, i ve got the ABT one on my car but mines a VAG.
